Upcoming trend was previous reported as a seller who purchased powerseller status by selling 300+ stylus for nortendo. This was done to establish creditablility to sell fake falsh. This is why you should not put any faith in Ebay powerseller status or postitive feedback for any sellers of flash drives on Ebay.
Was reported for Feedback manipulation. Will see what EBAy does with this seller.

If I know anything about peebay then I think they will do nothing. I have noticed recently that peebay seem to be hiding buyer ID’s at the end of auctions on some of their sites. I also notice that access to negative feedback for sellers has become more difficult at times. Is this part of their “buyer protection program”?? Somehow I think not – more like a “profit protection program” if you ask me!

Upcomingtrend currently hs no items for sale — possibly under suspension?
Looks like ebays penalty for purchasing feedack was to reduce this sellers feedback score.
http://myworld.ebay.ca/upcomingtrend/
This seller is probably not concerned about the suspension as he is most likely selling fake flash under other seller ID(s).

Looks like Upcomingtrend is coming out of hibernation. Has 300+ items on 24 hour listing.
In response to complaint about Upcomingtrend purchasing powerseller status ebay did very little. No surprise, everthing on Ebay is available for sale. Want powersell status you can purchase it by selling very cheap items.
The only think as a buyer you can trust on EBay is negative feedback… positive feedback and powerseller status status can be purchased.

Amazing is it not? How eBay sleeps and fake flash sellers like Upcomingtrend get away with murder?
Has eBay eaten a poison apple? The apple of profit? Who is the prince Charming, who can awaken eBay with a kiss. After 100 years of sleep? Let’s hope it is not the FrankenFlash Project. Kissing eBay is a frightening thought! Yuk. As much as we once loved eBay, that eBay no longer exists. Instead we have an old hag, that has fallen prey to greed and profit.
eBay does not care about members or making it a safe place to buy. We all learned the hard way. Their advertisements are lost on us. Too many victims frauded.
See http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/01/technology/01ebay.html?_r=3&adxnnl=1&oref=slogin&adxnnlx=1220613532-7qyf+/jjkG/edVcbpPV7Og
“EBay now says it has over 2,000 people worldwide to tackle counterfeiting and that 95 percent of fraudulent listings are removed before the auction ends. ”
Right. Give us a break! Spin.
The sad fact is this. eBay like many companies automated to the Nth degree. They replaced people with code. They can not control their website systems. They no longer have enough staff. They layed off over 1,200 people in October, 2008. They are closing their Vancouver call center. They are out of control.
They do not have the manpower to address fraud. They cut to the bone in the interest of Quarterly profits. Sound familiar? Ebay like most companies are trying to “manage perception”. The project would be very surpised if they had 100 people looking at fraud. We suspect they have less than 50.
The problem with “Technology” is that it can rule you. Take over in code. Not enought people who understand it or who can manage it. The fake flash sellers – particularily in the orient are well aware of eBay’s flaws. They exploit it.
How else can these powersellers continue?
In the last meeting we reviewed the behavior of the fraudsters. They are clever. They carefully grow id’s. They prepare the id’s. They sell a lot of cheap items to grow their feedback. Some even make sure to continue to sell cheap items for a pound or less to balance any incoming negatives. They have it down to a science!
Ebay is at the mercy of fraudsters.
upcomingtrend rules ebay and not the other way around.
Strange isn’t it? As the project has said many times – the only people who can clean up eBay and stop this problem are the members! You have to fight back. Any way you like.
If you think eBay will do it for you…. our sites will still be active 10 years from now. Frankly that is Not something we look forward to.
My personal observation is this:
Either victims stand up and fight back, or we will all grow old with endless alerts and posts. Meanwhile the fake flash sellers will laught all the way to the bank.
If ebay was shut down, the major source of distrubtion for fake and false capacity mp players , memory cards and usb drives would disappear. Many fraudsters would be out of business. Most victims who have been frauded and who did not receive refunds and especailly those who lost information would not be sorry to see ebay go down in flames.
Frankly the ebay we once loved, no longer exists.
Should it be allowed to? We are not sure.
I can only say, they need to clean up their act. Accept responsibilty. Refund all victims of a fake flash seller. Issue an apology. And stop hiding the truth by suspending sellers and removing listings, in an attempt to hide the evidence.
The project keeps on hearing from victims that they wish to issue a class action suit against ebay. We keep adding information into the confidental database. eBay better start addressing the issue and behaving responibly. If they do not, one day they will be in court.
We believe that eBay could address the issues if they wanted too.
That “Demand an end to unfair trade practices” http://fakeflashnews.wordpress.com/2009/07/10/a-chance-to-vote-for-more-ebay-fraud/ was disgusting!

Recently purchased a 16G drive from upcomingtrend (first image in second row) and went through the steps to get a refund. Seller provided a quick refund and asked for positive feedback. Lovely how someone can rip you off and smile to your face while they are doing it.
Keep working to get the word out about this. I know I will.

Will you be shocked?
upcomingtrend is not listing. At the moment, not yet suspended. Rush to claim. Rush to leave your feedback for the record.
You probably do not have very much time left before eBay suspends. TechReporter’s just blew the lid of some very stinky and deep corruption.
Your addresses are the KEY! There are probably a lot of id’s in those two rings.
Please do not throw away those mailing envelopes!
Since SOSFakeFlash has started to collect them recently, the puzzle is filling in.

Wow so glad I found this and checked out the seller’s feedback before paying for the item. Have sent an email to seller requesting they cancel the transaction, so hopefully all goes well there. Keep up the great work! People need to be more aware of sellers’ histories before buying. I very rarely check feedback, but luckily I did this time!

Upcomingtrend Switches To Private Auctions
Well it looks like upcomingtrend is really determined to fraud! He has switched to private auctions.
We strongly suspect this id is connected to the “Don Of Fake Flash” the ring we named 3totrade. Actually as time goes by the picture is becoming more clear.
Please make sure to send us every address you have. It helps to connect the dots.
If you have $1 US dollar to spare, buy some cheap stylus pens. Free shipping, wonderful giant toothpicks. Some go for as little as .01 US. Then refuse to leave any feedback at all. Nothing. It will starve his feedback score of the postives he desperately needs.
Get those negatives in after testing your fake flash 16GB. And please don’t kiss his fake flash butt crawling on your belly revising your feedback to get a refund. It makes everyone sick! He’s been at it for over 6 months.
Oh yes, if he doesn’t send the giant toothpicks you know what to do.
Buy those stylus pens, everyone. Don’t bid very high. He has lot’s to offer. Remember…free shipping. Help ebay members to fight back, and let the negatives for fake 16GB flash memory drives show!
If you prefer to address another fake flash seller (only those on the lists) that are trying to pad their feedback with cheap stylus to combat ebay members who leave negatives for flash memory items, that is okay too. We do not accept donations from people. We do accept help! Contribute a $1 us dollar in bids for cheap stylus pens. Then, no feedback. Vote how you feel, by starving the latest scam to block victims of fake usb memory items!
