eBay continues to be flooded with cheap DT310 Counterfeits. Buyers continue to be frauded with cheap fakes. eBay sellers continue to demonstrate ignorance, importing them at amazingly low wholesale prices to sell on eBay. It isn’t going down, DT310 fraud is increasing!
Imagine buying one for only $20.99 and reselling it at $45 to $150 US. Use buy now listings, dump your inventory and then close your id before eBay has the opportunity to spot you and shut you down. This is happening a lot on eBay these days for sellers who list the DT310. SOSFakeFlash calls it:
Dump and Run!
The DT310 is probably the most popular usb flash drive counterfeit being sold on eBay today. No, the flood is not coming from sellers registered in Asia, but from sellers in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada.
Recently a lot of sellers began putting “No Returns” in their listings for DT310. Now what genuine flash memory seller would do a thing like that? Don’t they trust the quality of the Kingston brand name and the fact that genuine Kingston usb flash drives are not returned because they have been subjected to so many tests before they are packaged and shipped. It is one of the reasons 256 GB is so expensive, the labour costs and inspections by high tech equipment to make sure the flash drive is reliable. Or is it the sellers know the real cost for a DT310 and are trying to intimidate buyers into believing they are not allowed to return them?
eBay has received so many complaints for counterfeit DT310 usb flash drives from buyers, the “No Returns” message on listings has changed. You can’t immediately open a dispute for a fake. What is going on here? If the item is not as described you are supposed to dialogue with the seller.
It is pretty obvious eBay has no intention of stopping the sell of fake DT310 usb flash drives. If they did, they would lose a lot of revenue, remember the DT310 is a hot seller on eBay.
Now which seller is going to put in their listing
“I am selling at such a ridiculous price…. it has to be a counterfeit”.
As usual, it is eBay playing games again, they have been doing it for over 9 years now, at buyer expense.
We’ve got some reading material for you here, if you bought a fake DT310, so read on!
