hitech2day has changed their name to hititems.

Looks like they are still selling the hacked MPx players as evidenced by this recent neutral feedback:
“good price but it gets locked once you put like 50 songs.”

Greetings from an old fool who got took twice by different outfits. Picked up one of those fake 16 gig players after checking I see I do have 2 gig, wondered why I kept getting errors. Then later on picked up one of those 32 gig SD cards, came in a real looking case and the whole deal but when it failed the first time I tried it, I contacted the company, they told me it was faked in China and that I should try and get a refund. Since I had already started a complaint with Ebay because it took over 30 days, and stopped that complaint when it arrived, I was unable to make another complaint for fake product, so I was screwed that time too, haven’t checked the fake 32 gig to see what it really is, but I can get a few files on it before it locks up my device or computer.

Getting hard to buy anything on Ebay anymore, sad too as I used to really enjoy trading on Ebay, and the old Haggle.com before they died.

These devices are still being sold with various memory configurations stated, it appears EBAY doesn’t much care about it since the outfits selling it have thousands of sales and rake in tons of funds for EBAY and PAYPAL

    Hi Jerry,
I agree entirely – I’m sure ebay could easily put a stop to fraud on their site if they really wanted to – but all they seem to care about is money. You’d think that the prosecutions they’ve faced over counterfeit designer items might have made them sit up and take notice – but no.

If anything, it looks like they try to sweep evidence about fraud on ebay under the carpet.
    Marge
