davidtam000 has been identified as an eBay seller of Counterfeit usb flash drives. An independent report received by SOSFakeFlash estimated that this seller sold more that600+ fake flash drives. We only have 3 models on file as davidtam000 registered from eBay on October 5th 2008. By deregistering this seller has wiped all traces of his fake flash selling from direct investigation.

If you bought a flash drive from davidtam000, you are at risk of data loss. You should test the drive and file a claim IMMEDIATELY with PayPal to recover your purchase price. Failure to act immediately jeopardizes any possiblity of recovering your funds.

davidtam000 has just recently been reported to SOSFakeFlash. We are unable to investage from within eBay to identify buyers for assistence as this seller deregistered. We have two of the three models sold recently on file, investigated and confirmed as a fakes.

Please send us the ebay item number, and your id, the description of the drive from your won list (if you have it). Fortunately there are other tools available on the internet to track eBay. We have the last 60 days of sales for this counterfeit seller on file. We would also appreciate the test results as evidence.

If you confirm a fake you must file a dispute immediately with PayPal! Failure to do so means you might not be able to recover your purchase price. It is possible to claim against a seller who tries to run from eBay and his fake flash deeds. Many eBayers have sucessfully recovered their funds from such a seller at PayPal.

Counterfeit items tied to criminal activity enjoy no protection. If you bought one of these usb fake flash drives from davidtam000, you should test immediately with the software H2testw 1.4 . Do not store any important data on the drive until you can confirm you have the advertised capacity (minus formatting overhead).

Should your drive not report the true advertised capacity:

  1. Immediately attempt to move any data you have stored on the drive to another source. Be advised if you have stored more than the reported size from H2testw 1.4, you will not be able to recover it all – you can expect to see errors in the copy back.
  2. Immediately report to eBay and PayPal to add your voice against this seller.

If the eBay Item number has disappeared from your won list. Please go to PayPal and search through your transactions for the approximate time frame of your purchase.
