themustang15541 is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake – false capacity memory) Flash USB drives. Registered in the United States, themustang15541 sold the classic and oldest known fake on eBay – super sized at 64GB.
eBay sellers in the United States, need to do their homework, research flash memory prices. Most honest American sellers gave up long ago. It was impossible to offer true capacity at low low prices. They charged fair prices with a very small profit margin. Being over looked by eBay members stampeding to the orient for the cheap prices, some had to sell below cost just to move their remaining inventory. The few who remain are careful with their suppliers and charge realistic prices.
You can make more money baking chocolate chip cookies to sell at a church bazaar then by selling true capacity flash memory products. Especially in North America. Not only do sellers have to complete with dishonest sellers based in the Orient but also with computer retail chains that have “sales” and some reputable internet sites such as newegg.com.
SOSFakeFlash has a message for eBay sellers in North America. Do your homework. You will not want to sell any usb flash drives, mpx players or memory cards on eBay if you do your research.
themustang15541 might claim victim seller status, but sellers in this category contact all buyers, refund them and apologize. Should a seller feel that it is okay that you suffer because he must suffer, that is not a victim seller.
We remind all readers. The FrankenFlash Project was co founded: eBay Victim Sellers, eBay Buyers. The victim sellers set the standards by which all future sellers would be judged. The standards were not set by buyers.

gsmnissi is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake – false capacity memory) counterfeit KINGSTON 16GB Class4 SDHC 16 GB, 16G Flash Memory Cards using multiple item listings.
Registered in the United States, gsmnissi ships from Guatemala.
A victim reports:
The seller listed themselves as being in the US and shipping Priority Mail. To my surprise the package comes from Guatemala in Chinese packaging.
Contacted Kingston directly who verified this was a fake. Kingston never made the SD6/16GB, the only went to 8GB (SD6/8GB), the 16GB is SD6/16GB-U.
SOSFakeFlash has observed a lot of buyers retreating to their home countries to bid and buy. They assume since they are avoiding sellers registered in the Orient they will be safe from fake flash memory acquistion. Wrong. The Case of eBay seller gsmnissi demonstrates why. Items from China, routed to Guatemala and sent into the United States. Sale under a USA eBay seller registration.

a_kasravi may have been a victim seller, not having tested the item. Caught by a buyer quickly.
DataTraveller 200 128GB came in original Kingston package and looked very authentic. When inserted to a PC, I noticed the drive name is “Linda”. Kingston’s Password Traveller application didn’t recognize the drive.
This is not the first time a fake false capacity usb flash drive was called “Linda”.
a_kasravi definately did not have an understanding of Mega Bytes or GigaBytes:

mixmasala19 is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake – false capacity memory) Flash USB drives.
Registered in the United States, mixmasala19 claims “defective”. Exactly what is the defect, SOSFakeFlash asks? Is it a defect in a 2GB flash memory chip, when it is unable to store 32GB worth of information?
American eBay fake flash memory sellers are notorious for conning their buyers by claiming the item is defective. Unfortunately too many eBay members in the United States actually fall for this. There is an urgent need to educate buyers in the USA concerning the problem of fake flash memory chips. How these chips can be digitally altered to “lie” about their true capacity! If you have a website or access to one, please educate and warn Americans!!!!
Some team members feel protective about animals, caring deeply – as animals can not speak for themselves. KittyFireFlash is still tracking the poisoner of squirrels. The trees on his property almost silent, so many were killed. mixmasala19 stated 10% of the selling price would go to an animal charity. Normally we would capture this information and display it for everyone as part of the fraud. However, this would harm the charity involved seeking to do good for the uncared for, mistreated and unwanted animals in our world. mixmasala19 actually deserves a double devious classification for this. Did the charity receive any proceeds from fake flash memory sales? We doubt it.

Fake flash memory sellers on eBay have many personalities. In the Orient, most are extremely “polite” as they engage in fraud, it is an art. Elsewhere frauding sellers have a habit of losing their temper when found out. The one thing they have in common is an addiction to the profit selling fake (false capacity) flash memory items on eBay can generate. clicktoblue is no exception. This eBay seller has returned for another round of fake flash selling, this time offering 32GB capacity. He is very skilled at claiming “defective” if a buyer finds something wrong with the usb pen flash drive he sold. He is also very bullish and rude!
Since October 2009 he is offering 32GB capacity at fabulous prices with multiple item listings in buy now, $29.95 US. Last time he sold 16GB fakes for only $19.95 US.
Will clicktoblue be allowed to succeed in his fraud again? It is up to you. His buyers who left positive feedback for the 32GB usb flash drives need to be warned to test them! Have victims record sosfakeflash in their feedback and follow up feedback this time. As always, have victims submit evidence using the report a fake tab .
This time…. SOSFakeFlash would like a buyer to open and photograph the usb flash drive. Unfortunately of the four models currently sold only one will open. (see Proving A Fake USB Flash Memory Pen Drive Stick Pen To Be False Capacity – A Visual Example – Guide Made Easy )The black classic and ancient usb flash drive sold on eBay! The others are sewn and glued, if opened they can not be put back together. The only good news about clicktoblue on eBay is that he confines his fraudulent activites to the United States.

sylvan_company is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake – false capacity) memory cards . Approximately 170+ were sold. Registered in the United States, sylvan_company also sold usb flash drives.
A victim reported:
They immediately refunded my PayPal when I notified them with H2testw results on 9/22. Here is their explanation.
Hello,
Please accept our sincere apologies. We do not test these and they come pre-packaged where we only apply the shipping label. The owner of our company is addressing this issue personally.
We have refunded your Paypal payment.
Not known is whether eBay seller sylvan_company has issued a recall – contacting all buyers to warn them of the false capacity of the memory card, refunded in full with shipping and handling and apologized.
All eBay sellers for flash memory products need to test their merchandise prior to offering for sale on eBay, to make sure the items have the stated storage capacity. Spot checks on new incoming shipments need to be routinely performed to guard against receiving false capacity items from their suppliers. Failure to do so, can lead to data loss for buyers!
blueloyalpromo on fake flash memory sold around the world:
Testing revealed a storage capacity of 4GB for the 16GB flash memory card. Moreover, there is evidence in feedback of the memory card not working in early August 2009. sylvan_company also has a lot of “revised feedback”. A bad sign. There are up to 170+ eBay victims out there.
