If you use the Toolhaus.org tool to check a sellers feedback and receive a message that the id is invalid, it means only one thing – the eBay seller as renamed his eBay id.
Official sites in the Franken Flash Project are equipped to deal with this issue. It is not a mystery to our sites. We can detect the changes. When sellers attempt to rename their id’s it is not an issue for us. It is not a new tactic. It is an old tactic fake flash memory sellers use. Unfortunately unofficial sites do not have the information we have and lack the discipline to track and trace. There is only one way to understand the behavior and to deal with it – databases.
SOSFakeFlash is very much aware of this behavior. It is also the reason for databases and why it is so important that victims report their fake flash memory sellers! Some fake flash memory sellers change their id names frequently. It is an attempt to hide from victims. Also to try and break the chain of negative feedback, This is especially important for eBay forums and blogs.
By using the Report A Fake tab and reporting your sellers we are able to track them and any sneaky attempts to change their eBay seller Id names.
Any internet site that promotes itself as fighting against fake flash memory selling on eBay needs to have databases. To reassuringly track changes in seller id’s. If they do not, then they are going to be left in the dark, unable to assist ebay Victims.
SOSFakeFlash thanks all victims who are reporting in using the Report A Fake Tab. You are helping! Your contribution is making a difference. Without your reports, SOSFakeFlash would have nothing to report, no one to warn on the internet.
If you are trying to repair a fake flash memory item you need to visit FixFakeFlash Inspectortech. It is the most comprehsive site to fixing fake flash memory! Make sure you read their FAQ so you are prepared for the challenge.

kentvalleycomputer is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake – false capacity memory) Flash USB drives. Registered in the United States, kentvalleycomputer was warned in late summer of 2008 to test usb flash drives being sold. SOSFakeFlash periodically runs outreach programmes to eBay sellers.
A fully documented report from a victim has been received, amazing in detail! You would be surprised how much information you as a buyer have access to. kentvalleycomputer was among sellers who never responded. Sellers who do not respond to eBay members engaging in outreach missions are almost always those sell fake memory items on eBay.
SOSFakeFlash has a zero tolerance policy introduced during the summer of 2009. It is also retroactive.
If you discovered you bought a fake (False capacity) mp player, usb flash drive pen stick, or memory card on eBay several months ago, even a year or two ago, it is not too late to report your seller using the Report A Fake Tab. You are required to perform testing and submit the results. Listing information disappears on eBay and also on your won list. However you will find accurate information in your PayPal history if you search for it. Did you know that?
Obviously if you wish to have your fake flash seller documented and added to the list with a historical alert, you do have to provide the proof of your purchase, ebay item number, listing information and your eBay id. It is very important when all obvious traces disappear from eBay.
For the record, we never publish who you are on the internet or your eBayer id, unless you absolutely demand we do! Since the internet is so public, we require readers to submit proof. SOSFakeFlash does not engage in witch hunts. eBay scam sellers fear this site, they have good reason – evidence. It is wrong to fraud people, worse to sell items that cause people to loose their precious files and data.
Should you do this? Yes. It adds into the evidence against eBay, PayPal and eBay sellers.
This problem is now in it’s seventh year. Hundreds of thousands of buyers have been frauded in 72 countries. The US Dollar sales are in the millions each year.
It might be too late to leave negative feedback, it is not to late to have thelast word.
Previously the record was 12 months after purchase for a victim to report in, it is now 19 months after purchase. Everyone in the FrankenFlash project is a volunteer. It is hard work, exhausting some times. The SOSFakeFlash group is dedicated to exposing and documenting fake flash memory sellers and providing victims with the information they need. We don’t just document current eBay fake flash sellers, we document them all if you provide the needed information.
kentvalleycomputer sold:

He was caught because a victim provided the information needed.
Do you want to know all the countries that received fake flash memory items on eBay?

We are racing to build the new eBay Fake Flash Memory seller lists. The current lists have 848 sellers, we now have 913 documented! You don’t have very much time left, to report in to SOSFakeFlash if your seller is not on the current ones!
If your testing proves you have a fake flash memory item, please make sure to leave SOSFakeFlash in your feedback! It helps other buyers to find help at our site! If you don’t have time to warn other buyers for your seller, “Google SOSFakeFlash” in feedback makes a difference!
If you left positive feedback, you can still have the last word, do follow up feedback and let everyone know the truth!
The FrankenFlash Project and SOSFakeFlash are noticing eBay is scrambling. There are changes in how disputes are to be settled. At the moment, it is not clear what this will mean. A lot depends on which eBay site you bought the item from and your eBay country of registration. SOSFakeFlash will tell you more once we have additional information.
We have been told that eBay sellers in the Orient do not have to paid listing fees to eBay if they advertise on ebay.com! This is discrimination.
It gives an unfair advantage to eBay sellers in the Orient at the expense of American eBay sellers! Many people are unaware of this.
In the fight against fake memory products, SOSFakeFlash has only one conclusion, eBay has sold it’s soul.
It is important you do not take “No” for an answer in dealing with eBay or PayPal. It does not matter if you have exceeded the 45 day claim window. They know what is going on and will want you to give up. Don’t!
Analysis of data and victims indicates a more aggressive approach is needed. A new team is being formed and they do not have to follow the rules of SOSFakeFlash or the general rules of the FrankenFlash Project. We will tell you more about them when we know more…. SOSFakeFlash as a zero tolerance policy. The new group has minus zero tolerance.
Because victims are not being heard by eBay or PayPal, more are choosing not to create a dispute as “item not described”, but simply as item not received. It is not “correct behavior”. SOSFakeFlash does not recommend this action. However, when a seller is documented and if eBay refuses to take action against a seller, or assist in warning buyers and refunding them – the action can be understood.
The burden lies on eBay to address the issue of Fake Flash Memory items: memory cards, usb flash drives, mpx players. Seven years is enough!
Is it allowed to sell children, firearms or poison on eBay? No.
If eBay can not stop the sell of fake memory products, they have an obligation to ban the items for sale. Period! No excuses are accepted. If you reached this site, you are most likely a victim of fake flash memory.
You can make a difference. Fight back and say “NO“!

Venting is indeed good for frauded eBay Members who purchased false capacity SD Cards, Pen Sticks, MPx Players on eBay. Action? Even Better!
Recently a comment arrived from diagon-elly on mygodyeah. mygodyeah was a really bad case.
diagon-elly said:
“mygodyeah” is no longer a registered ebay member. Even though I know that he’ll be back in no time or has several accounts already, I won. I and the other buyer kicked his Chinese butt!!! I got my money back too and I hope that every buyer I wrote to, has opened a dispute too.
It brought back many memories of fights by eBay members to remove fraudulent sellers. diagon-elly channeled the anger of being frauded with a dangerous false capacity usb flash drive into positive action – warning others. Refusing to let this id get away with more fraud.
mygodyeah belongs to the 3totrade counterfeit ring operating on eBay. There are currently 16 eBay ids on file, only one is still active and brazenly selling fake memory usb pen sticks, obamastores .
It’s amazing how the last id active of the Don Of Fake Flash In the Orient, continues. Strange, but it is not the last time I said this…the last active id when writing about the Don Of Fake Flash. Soon we will be offering victims a little guided tour, to the mystery address. The Don has claimed so many victims these last two years. An opportunity for a little undercover photo shoot presented itself.
Why obmamastores continues is a mystery, perhaps not enough committed victims like diagon-elly possibly. Unlike most fake flash memory sellers in the Orient, obamastores follows in the footsteps of the early id’s, offering a fair amount of real capacity for the 32GB advertised size – 4GB flash memory chips often grade D.
On the subject of “butts” readers, it is not only Chinese butts that needs kicking.
It is true, though, they do represent the majority of fake flash memory sellers currently operating on eBay.
SOSFakeFlash and eBay members have kicked butts for many nationalities and countries these last two years. Here are some memorable ones from the past:
Canada: rickysell819 Ebay Fake Flash Seller – Canada – Case Of Ricky The Tricky
India: Ebay Fake Flash Sellers Alert India – A Mystery In New Delhi
America: Investigation On Seller Using eBay Id guruelectronics Continues At SOSFakeFlash
Australia: fufu$$ And The Counterfeit Kingston DT150 64GB DataTraveler USB Flash Drives
United Kingdom: naffy23k eBay Fake Flash Seller vs H2testw and eBay Victims
Europe: mpt555 aka arifqammar Ebay Seller Playing With Fire – Ukraine.
Frankly there is no eBay country where it is “safe” to buy flash memory products. Sad but true. The only real difference is how much you will spend for your item (see Global Report – eBay Fake Memory 2008 – 2009 for the prices eBay sellers charge for fakes by the 5 regions in the world).
The majority of fake mpx players, memory cards and usb flash drives come from eBay sellers registered in the Orient. It is impossible to dispute this. You only need to look at the fake flash country categories for sellers on SOSFakeFlash’s category list to see how many sellers have been caught by area of the world.
Unfortunately, in the mind of consumers around the world, the Orient means cheap, discounted. This may be true for many products, but it is not true for flash memory technology. 80% of the cost is the flash memory chip, something buyers are unaware of and also resellers. Until people understand this fact, eBay members will continue to be victims.
If you are a victim and you are angry – channel your energy into something positive. Warn other buyers of your seller. Hound eBay and PayPal. Tell your friends, family and colleagues at work about your experience. As diagon-elly reports, kicking “butt”, warning others and removing a fake flash memory seller can be a very satisfying experience. Positive too.
Vent, focus, act!

Last call to report your eBay fake flash seller for the new lists. Please do not delay. New lists will be published during the week of February 7th – 13th, 2010.
Are you a fake flash memory newbie? Find this site a little confusing? Leave your suggestions on this post. The SOSFakeFlash site, part of the FrankenFlash project has been in operation since 2008. A lot of information exists at this site, victims before you have contributed their experience and insights.
After we publish the new lists and outstanding alerts, the project will start focusing on redesign of the internet sites. Each site has a different task and mission. SOSFakeFlash is asking new victims to offer suggestions for “getting started”. We would like to add a new tab to the menu bar and will be demoting some existing ones. Do you have a name or suggestion for a menu item name, for first time readers? It can’t be more than 11 characters long.
Please get your eBay fake flash memory sellers to us in time for the next lists. If you chose not to include your eBay id, we can’t add to the database, the record will not be accepted as it is a required field. No alert is issued against a seller unless we can record a victim. Those are the rules.
Fake Flash Angels, you are doing a wonderful job! To anyone who warns other buyers for an eBay fraudulent seller, victims say thank you, we do too!

cityin168 sells fake memory products on eBay. Previously known as superdealdaily2046 registered in China, cityin168 offered bribes to victims to remove negative feedback. It didn’t work.
superdealdaily2046 decided to change his id to cityin168 in a last effort to avoid victims. He has stopped listing mpx players and spy pens. This powerseller’s score is sinking dangerously toward an eBay suspension and he knows it. eBay members struggle to contact other buyers who left positive feedback, but with only 5 messages a day and so many victims, everyone is needed to help! Victims who left positive feedback are encouraged to do follow up feedback.

Fake Flash Memory fraud does not occur only in the Orient. You can find eBay fraudulent sellers in your own country. schoolwearunited, is an eBay seller registered in the United Kingdom who keeps renaming his id to out run his dark past.
Originally schoolwearunited sold fake memory as ajs_socks. SOSFakeFlash published an alert with a victim’s observations and documentation: ajs_socks Ebay Fake Flash Seller – United Kingdom – Counterfeits A Speciality
ajs_socks’s discovering himself on the global internet for fraud committed against eBay members, renamed his id to ajsallinone.
SOSFakeFlash followed by issueing a new update informing the public of his id change: ajsallinone aka ajs_socks Ebay Fake Flash Memory Seller – United Kingdom – Id Change
ajsallinone in an attempt to out run the alert on the ajsallinone id, renamed to schoolwearunited.
SOSFakeFlash is committed to preserving evidence. Victims searching for the truth about their seller eventually look on the interent. Victims have reported their fakes to SOSFakeFlash even 12 months after purchase.
SOSFakeFlash does not forget YOU, the victims of eBay fake flash memory sellers. It is why we have databases and we ask you to report in using the Report a Fake Tab.
We track and trace known eBay fake flash memory sellers over time. If they change their name we can catch them with your completed information. If they try to start up under a new id, we can connect the dot’s and trace them, often to major counterfeit rings abusing eBay and frauding members.
As far as victims and SOSFakeFlash are concerned, there is no eBay Fake Flash Memory Seller Protection Program. Correct behavior is to contact all buyers, to refund in full and to apologize for the harm that has been caused.
eBay fake flash memory sellers can run, but they can not hide.

xprodeal is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake – false capacity memory) Flash USB drives, MPx Players,SD SDHC Memory Cards. Registered in China, xprodeal belongs to the Chen Haijian counterfeit ring operating on eBay. The ids in this ring identified so far by SOSFakeFlash are: bid2buying, fleabase, getwowprice, greatwallseller, showwhat, xoldskool, xprodeal.
Read: Global Report – eBay Fake Memory 2008 – 2009
The first report of a fake arrived at SOSFakeFlash on April 23rd, 2008. In May SOSFakeFlash released: xprodeal Ebay Fake Flash Seller Alert – China
The seller continued to fraud. Not enough people made the effort to warn other buyers. This time eBay members are taking action. Join the battle to shut this powerseller down. Contact buyers who left positive feedback where the eBay item is listed as private – it is hiding a fake flash memory sale. Warn them to test. Have they march to PayPal to file a dispute. A person who leaves positive feedback can do follow up feedback to show the real truth about their purchase. Make sure to leave SOSFakeFlash in feedback, it helps others to find us.
To shut down a powerseller requires that eBay members each do their part as an individual and a group. Fake Flash Memory sellers on eBay fear this, eBay doesn’t like it, neither does PayPal but victims do!
