jinbingbing1209 aka bingbing1209 Ebay Fake Flash Memory Seller Id Change. Why Reporting In To SOSFakeFlash Matters.

Posted by KittyFireFlash on August 3, 2010

jinbingbing1209 eBay seller has a history of fraud on eBay selling false capacity 16GB and 64GB flash Memory USB drives. This seller was suspended by eBay. Previously SOSFakeFlash releasedUrgent! bingbing1209 Ebay Fake Flash Memory Seller High Alert – China .

It is a common practise for eBay fake flash memory sellers to choose a new id name when their eBay suspension is over. eBay is only too happy to give them a fresh start. Yes, almost all sooner or later go back to selling fake usb flash drives, mp players and memory cards on eBay.

Currently jinbingbing1209 aka bingbing1209 has tip toed back to selling gowns. Gowns and cheap jewelery are one of the tell tale signatures of eBay fake flash memory sellers.

Recently eBay pulled the listings of a lot of sellers who used multiple item listings to sell 1000+ units for fake memory cards and usb flash drives. Evidence of these items vanished, but not the gowns and cheap jewelery. In some ways by covering the tracks of fake flash memory sellers, eBay only makes the “tells” for these fraudulent sellers even more glaring.

SOSFakeFlash does not forget YOU, the victims of eBay fake flash memory sellers. That is why we have databases and why we ask you to report in using the Report a Fake Tab.

We track and trace known eBay fake flash memory sellers over time. If they change their name we can catch them with your completed information. If they try to start up under a new id, we can connect the dot’s and trace them, often to major counterfeit rings operating and abusing eBay and frauding members.

As far as victims and SOSFakeFlash are concerned, there is no eBay Fake Flash Memory Seller Protection Program. Correct behavior is to contact all buyers, to refund in full and to apologize for the harm that has been caused.

eBay Update Fake Flash Memory July 30 2010 – SOSFakeFlash

Posted by KittyFireFlash on July 30, 2010

eBay is currently running around zapping fake flash memory sellers who list brand name items from Sandisk, Sony and Kingston Technologies. Frauded buyers have got them off their lazy duff! Suspend, suspend! Remove listings, vacumn away evidence of wrong doing. When eBay suspends a seller they get to remove the listings you bid on. Did you know that? The FakeFlashSentinel team is in overload just trying to keep up!

eBay don’t have a lot of choice, you might be a frauded buyer but they are more scared of brand names. Is this fair? You the buyer, didn’t matter very much for over 8 years. We at SOSFakeFlash and the other FrankenFlash project sites have been turning up the heat, so they don’t dare ignore us or you any longer. In fact, it appears that eBay is refunding buyers of fake flash usb drives, mp players and memory cards with amazing speed. This is a serious change. Can you guess why?

The fraudulent sellers in Asia are getting the message too. eBay seems to have a few people on patrol for young eBay id’s. So they are reading and learning from SOSFakeFlash? About time!

If you don’t know, it is easy to reprogramme the reported size of flash memory. While 128 GB and 256 GB are the hot capacity sizes, sellers who offer them are being shut down fast, if the prices are unrealistic for for the flash memory chips.

To stay under the radar and avoid the cross hairs of eBay a lot of eBay sellers are scaling back, that is, reprogamming the fakes to appear 16GB and 32GB. Okay, so they don’t make as much money but they need to stay in business.

It’s really important that you report your fake flash memory sellers to us. We can’t issue an alert or research them without your help. See the Report A Fake Tab to learn more on how to report them. If you got a refund, share and boost on this post:Refunded!

Almost all fake flash memory sellers are based in Asia. Just look at the categories on the left menu for eBaySellers, it will make things very clear to you.

If any seller is using private auctions for an item listed under $150 US you are buying a fake flash memory item! It’s also a violation of eBay policy. If you sell any listings like this, report them to eBay IMMEDIATELY!

If you see any of these usb flash drives shown on eBay, run baby run! Stop those bidding fingers! You are likely to buy a fake, plain and simple. In 2.5 years of operation we have not seen any of them holding more than 8GB, usually 2 to 1 GB in capacity.

Every few minutes, new fake flash memory items show up on eBay. Do yourself a favour, don’t buy any mp players, memory cards or usb flash drives on eBay. You are asking for a lot of pain and loosing files, 95% of all listings are for false capacity!

SOSFakeFlash believes that current progress to remove fraudulent sellers on eBay is temporary. Please be on guard. Warn other buyers for your seller, send them messages to test with H2testw. Not being addressed are flash memory cards and MP Players.

Keep fighting and demanding your refunds. Report the sellers to us and also to eBay. If things continue to improve the FrankenFlash Project could move to part two of the agenda, addressing internet wholesaling sites, the source of most fake flash memory items being imported into your local country.

Will we get this opportunity? It depends. Will eBay change the listing rules for flash memory technology? Are they willing to refund any frauded buyer, no matter how long ago the purchase? Will they offer an apology to a victim? How do they indend to address the files lost by buyers? Files and data most lost forever?

EBay Fake Memory June 2010 Progress Report – Operation Fake Flash Storm Against EBay

Posted by KittyFireFlash on June 6, 2010

PatrolEbay

Continue to patrol and monitor eBay for suspect flash memory listings.

eBay powersellers using private auctions to sell false capacity memory cards, usb flash drives and mp players are no longer immune to suspensions. Pressure on eBay continues.

When members take the time to warn others who left positive feedback, powersellers are starting to be suspended despite high positive feedback scores.

As always, buyers should test the true capacity of items: H2testw 1.4 – Gold Standard In Detecting USB Counterfeit Drives to ensure advertised capacity was received. If not, leave SOSFakeFlash + H2testw in feedback (negative, or follow up to positive), file a dispute for a refund, contact eBay if you are able and begin warning others.

If you are a lucky one, contacted by a FakeFlashAngel, offer your help.

SOSFakeFlash is currently focusing on investigations, processing information received from The Report A Fake Tab and Action Cells. We need to produce updated eBay Fake Flash Seller lists.

Addressing information is revealing fraudulent sellers are running several eBay ids in parallel, slightly staggered in time. A Fake Flash Memory relay race? Instead of a baton, pass the fake flash memory sticks? As odd as this may sound, it is exactly what is happening on eBay at the moment. Help trip them up and prevent them from passing the same listings to a new id.

In two months, 235 alerts have been issued on the Internet by SOSFakeFlash. Dragon Dakel’s Watchdog at FakeMemorySentinel 385+ testing warnings.

Consider this, if eBay powersellers who sell fake memory products can now receive suspensions, ask yourself why?

SOSFakeFlash News 20100518

Posted by KittyFireFlash on May 19, 2010

Operation Fake Flash Storm against eBay is proving successful. The number of listings for false capacity memory cards and usb pen sticks is decreasing. For MP Players the issue is more problematic, not enough victims contacting fellow buyers to warn them.

Investigation continues for victims who report sellers using the Report a fake tab. 1129 eBay sellers are now on file for selling fake memory, see eBay Fakes – Seller Lists to review the current lists. Note there are two lists, one covers sellers from * to K the other from L to Z.

The assistance of all victims, needed. As we push back the fake flash memory tide on eBay there is resistance. Operation Fake Flash Storm is reducing the lifespan of fraudulent activity, it has not stopped the fraud completely, only how long they get away with cheating others.

Singapore, Japan and South Korea fraudsters continue to unleash new ids to replace those being suspended, China follows but not at the same rate (Law enforcement?). Some FakeFlashCommando activity seen in an attempt to short circuit selling sprees for fake memory. eBay is not paying attention or screening id’s in these regions.

Hong Kong is reactivating id, as those in China decrease. SOSFakeFlash is uncertain why the switch is occurring. A possible reason may be a reduced tolerance in mainland China for overt corruption. Both countries are bases for established fake flash memory powersellers.

SOSFakeFlash Quik Note 20100505

Posted by KittyFireFlash on May 5, 2010

Keep reporting your eBay fake flash memory sellers! Our list at SOSFakeFlash is growing for fraudulent sellers on eBay. Use the Report A Fake Tab. to report sellers. Please make sure you also include your eBayer id to avoid a delay. The database requires it, it will not accept your information without it. Help us to help you and save precious time.

Operation Fake Flash Storm is increasing pressure on eBay. More buyers are receiving refunds. Removing ebay sellers and having them suspended for selling fake flash memory products requires that you also contact other buyers for your seller and warn them to test.

You can report any eBay seller who dared to list a memory card, mp player, or usb flash drive as “faulty”. Hacked memory flash chips are not faulty, they are HACKED. The sellers should know better. Instead they are attempting to reclaim their financial loss at your expense. Unless an eBay listing clearly says it is a “fake” , any listing will be treated as fraudulent. No exceptions. SOSFakeFlash will not tolerate word games from sellers. A zero tolerance policy exists.

Resist black mail from sellers, it is increasing. Report them to eBay and forward your email correspondence as evidence. Sellers do not have the right to ask you to change your feedback as a condition of refund. It is extortion and a violation of eBay rules.

If you have a fake, make sure to leave : SOSFakeFlash + H2testw in your feedback. If you left positive you can do follow up feedback indicating the truth. eBay sellers hate this. It means they are going to receive a suspensions soon. Save others from your experience, use your feedback to warn people. Some sellers will ofter you more than the price you paid (including shipping and handling) to get you to change your feedback. Resist.

cyber.networks aka cybertown_network eBay Fake Flash Memory Seller Back Suspension Ended. Fraud Begins Again On eBay – Deadly Private Auctions.

Posted by KittyFireFlash on April 13, 2010

cyber.networks aka cybertown_network is a devious eBay fake flash memory seller. He uses private auctions to hide his fake flash memory selling and received a sentence in eBay fake flash memory prision.

What does cyber.networks aka cybertown_network do the moment eBay releases him?

  1. Renames his eBay seller id from cybertown_network to cyber.networks
  2. Begins selling hacked fake memory products on eBay once again

Releasing this seller to start another round of fraud on eBay only demonstrates that eBay is more interested in the fake flash memory sellers fees then about you. eBay is unable to control fraud.

If you are a victim of cyber.networks aka cybertown_network report in to SOSFakeFlash using the report a fake tab, then begin sending messages to other buyers where the eBay item number is private. You became a victim because eBay did not shut this seller down – permenently. Others are going to be victims just like you unless you begin to warn buyers. How long will this seller steal your hard earned money? It is up to you.
