Fake MP Players on eBay are an old story and it’s been around for several years. Every day there is a new crop of victims. Why? Bargain hunting! SOSFakeFlash has no choice but to issue this warning. Do not buy any MP Players on eBay advertised as 8GB or 16GB. Period! Stop looking for bargains! You are not going to get a real 8GB or 16GB at $25 to $50.

We know that economic conditions are hard, but you need to be realistic about paying fair prices. If you want to pay less and get more – welcome to fake flash hell!

Transcend joins Sony and Kingston to have counterfeit USB Flash Drives sold on eBay. JetFlash V30 line had a maximum genuine capactiy of 16GB in size. Transcend, like Kingston uses colour coding to distinguish different capacities. Currently targeted by counterfeit flash sellers is the 4GB model that is being supersized to astonishing 32GB capacity. It this 4GB model is also pretenting to confuse and to sneak in at 16GB a genuine size. Only the true 16GB has the pink band not green.

flog.kingdom has been identified as an eBay seller of Counterfeit flash drives. SOSFakeFlash has investigated a 16GB model. This seller targeted Europe, with listing titles in local languages. Based in Hong Kong, this seller appeared in August 15th,2008. flog.kingdom deregistered on October 6th, 2008. If you bought a flash drive from this seller you are at risk for data loss – test immediately!
