I feel like such an idiot. Lost over $100 to this guy. Wish I had done some research before buying 5 different things. Ebay won’t even open a case for the items now because
“PayPal reports that a case should not be opened
We’re sorry there’s a problem with this purchase.Unfortunately, PayPal reports that we can’t open a case for this item. You can try to work out this problem by contacting the seller.”
Most likely wont get a refund but I opened the case with paypal at least.

  7. KittyFireFlash said

    Rocket Ham,

You and may others feel this way. Welcome to the club. People work on the project were once in your shoes.

eBay won’t open a case because paypal reports a case should not be opened?

Who are they trying to kid, to fool? eBay owns paypal not the other way around. Furthermore eBay is very much aware of the fraud, they just don’t want to accept responsibility. Since the first alert was published over a year ago and as they did absolutely nothing when eBay members orignally complained.

Over 1300 negatives, 600+ neutrals, 380+ revised feedbacks (read extortion) for hello-9928 aka Andy-wjm?

A powerseller of over 47,000 suspended by eBay when we finally put the thumb screws to both seller and eBay? It speaks for itself.

eBay, Rocket Ham, assumed the “Buyer Protection” from Paypal supposedly in an attempt to improve the protection. We believe it was NOT to improve protection but to add additional obstactles for frauded buyers to overcome, more road blocks.

Rocket Ham if you paid by credit card, call the company. Ask them to do a reversal. It is a clear case of fraud. It is also well documented on the internet. The thing Paypal hates the most, is credit card reversals. You can bet they will suddenly yank the funds from the seller if your credit card company does a reversal. Strange is it not?

The truth is, credit card companies in general, are more interested in protecting their customers and keeping their business then eBay. A lot of people fear using their credit cards for internet purchases still, afraid of identify theft and potential fraud. Therefore they are more willing to protect their customers to encourage them to purchase on the internet.

It is very sad, that eBay remains in denial. Instead of issuing new rules for listing flash memory products, they race to hide evidence by suspending sellers and therefore making it impossible for buyers to review the listings for items they purchased.

Evidence is and will continue to build against them. Recent quickie suspensions of sellers will do no good. The listings will be preserved and released to the internet.

We ask that all buyers frauded by hello-9928 aka Andy-wjm persist. Do not give up. Do not accept NO! from eBay regarding a refund. Email them daily. Call if you are able. Pester. Email, email.

It is your duty to wear them down. Flood their email. It is about the money, but it is also about the principal.

If you don’t think you can win? Read

Most sucessful victims will tell you the key to being refunded is to not let the matter rest. Refuse to be frauded and to keep at it until both eBay and paypal give in an refund you.

You got the run around Rocket Ham. The idea is to make you go away! Give up. It’s the percentage.

Of 10 frauded buyers, only one fights. So eBay gets to keep the fees and profit for 9 frauded buyers.

We hope that this time frauded buyers of hello-9928 aka Andy-wjm decide to tear the eBay house down! You should. eBay has no excuse. They must be held accountable.

So, like many, I stupidly did not do the research and bought from hello-9928/Andy-wjm. Currently, eBay lists him as “no longer registered”, which apparently means he’s either been suspended, or “quit” (most likely to just create a new account from scratch).

Anyway, since the items have yet to arrive (but are still within their window) is it possible for me to raise hell now? Or do I have to wait until I receive what I ordered, and can test it?

  9. Rocket Ham said

Thanks for the advice Kittyfireflash I will contact my bank and see what I can do.

@Sean, I actually had the same question, but I think if you have proof that he is fraudulent you should open a case immediately right?

  10. Sean said

    @Rocket Ham
See, that’s the problem, I don’t have proof atm, I have a suspicion. I suspect he has, since he’s ripped so many people off with fake flash, but I can’t prove it until my “2 gig” and “32 gig” mp4 players show up and I can scan them.
    If they show up.
    God I feel stupid.
I also have a sneaking suspicion of being ripped of by take.tohome, though I have yet to get the card from them, so I can’t prove that one yet either.

At least I got an article out of the experience. I’ve also been doing the whole FakeFlashAngel thing, warning people who left positive feed back. I also know regardless of if it’s genuine or not, all my feedback for flash purchases will contain the phrase “tested with H2Testw”

eBay knew that this guy is ripping off everyone who ever was in his plate. they should have stop him right then when they found negative feed back are rising . one guy 3 different account and top of that when he took all the money he changes F..king his ID.
How come ebay did not know this… …
I bought 10 item. f..king lost all the money . I am just one victim among many hundred. Now none of these name exits anymore on Ebay after F..king they took all the money from everyone.
And the item are not listed and Ebay and this is what is written ….Oh this person is no longer available.. where the fuck is money now…

NO more HK and China for me……

Too bad there isn’t an attorney out there that would take these scammers down and file a class action lawsuit for the many of us that have been ripped off. I would be more than happy to give the money I lost to the attorney just to obtain justice. I know I haven’t lost as much as some folks but a ripoff is still the same. Ebay and Paypal should be held accountable for their actions also if they had suspicions of these people. It is tough as a parent to try and explain to your 12 year old that someone has stolen their gifts to make them rich. Unfortunately lesson learned by both of us.
