showwhat eBay Fake Flash Memory Seller Moves Into High Gear – Replacing Xprodeal Stopped By eBay Members. Chen Haijian’s Fraud Continues.
Posted by KittyFireFlash on April 4, 2010
showwhat is bad news where flash memory is concerned. This id is part of the Chen Haijian counterfeit ring operating on eBay. The ring has currently 7 eBay ids, three serving a sentence in eBay fake flash prison for fraud.
Attempts were made in October 2009 to shut this seller down. The only thing that happened was showwhat dived under a rock to hide. Instead the other id’s in the Chen Haijian picked up the pace. Due to the success of eBay members against the powerhouse id of xprodeal, showwhat was pressed into service.
showwhat uses a lot of private auctions and you know what that means – the ability to hide the wrong doing from potential buyers. It only leads more victims to be frauded.
As usual buyers do not test items properly and leave feedback like this:

It leads more buyers to suffer the same fake flash memory experience. Most of the usb flash drives are being sold in private auctions. Oh, a 32GB usb flash drive for $25 AU? Showwhat is happy to provide you with the illusion and sadly eBay members continue to fall for it.
There is only one way to kick eBay scammer showwhat back under a rock – start warning other eBay members who bought from him and warn them to test with H2testw. Read: H2testw 1.4 – Gold Standard In Detecting USB Counterfeit Drives

showwhat Ebay Fake Flash Seller High Alert Devious – China
The only thing that has changed? The advertised sizes, not a difficult thing to do, just reprogramme to the size currently in demand by eBay members.
Fraud continues when victims do not take action to stop a seller. It escalates when buyers cave in and change their feedback as a condition of refund (against eBay policy). Who stops fraud? You do. Xprodeal was a champion fake flash seller id, but eBay members put their shoulder to the wheel – they shut him down. If you are a victim of showwhat – report in to SOSFakeFlash. Telepathy!
Funny thing, when I looked at your comment Duppy the auto post generate suggestions included this one:
An Omen?
You see, Obamastores is as far as we know the last remaining active id of the 3ToTrade counterfeit ring. The Don Of Fake Flash In the Orient. And there are connections with another ring as seen on that article.
At the moment there appear to be a few independent Angels, but not enough to address the volume of sales.
Readers interested in having a go at the “Don Of Fake Flash”, 3ToTrade are invited to examine Obamastores positive feedback and begin sending messages to buyers to test! Go back 10 days and chose id’s at random for now.
Why? Because the 3totrade counterfeit ring, started the FrankenFlash project.
If you have a little spare time, please contact Obamastores’s buyers = victims!

SHOWWHAT is NOW SUSPENDED! I had long talk with a real human on Ebay last week, one that escalated the Showwhat character to fraud prevention and today I got an email that indicated not to complete transactions. When I checked the showwhat Id he/she is no longer a registered user. Keep eyes open for new ID. Demand that Ebay support escalate to fraud prevention for investigation. THEY CAN DO IT! They have the internal tools to do so but many of these support people dont care. PUSH THEM! Keep up the good work!

I am also a victim of this ‘seller’! He sold a 8GB Spy Camera pen to me, which only had a storage of 4GB and the camera didn’t even work. When I sent the item back to him after having contacted him, he didn’t respond any more. Now my £15 + the postage to Hong Kong is gone. This fraud person should be fined for that.
I tried opening a case against him on PayPal, but since I was new at that point at ebay (October 2009), I opened a case for a delay of the item. The item however arrived with a slight delay and I immediately closed the case. Because I thought that the case for delivery was something completely different from a case for faulty/broken item.
This is how this person makes money and how he stole my money and I can’t even do anything against him now.
