i recently started to bid one two of ebay-wei’s items and am now concerned. Is there a way i can cancel my bids or do i have to buy it no matter what?

  2. KittyFireFlash said

What did you bid on Stephen?

    a) send an email to e-bay-wei demanding confirmation of the advertised size and keep the response. Forward to your personal email.

    then

    b) contact eBay for assistence.

Pray that someone outbids you and don’t increase your bid.

Here’s what I got from Ebay after refusing to pay after winning a bid, then reading this page:

    “Dear Todd,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to item #260607732341 (Slim 16GB
    1.8″LCD MP3/MP4 Radio FM Player+Gift&FreeShip). I understand that you
have no intention of paying for this item as you believe that it is a
    counterfeit.

Todd, please be assured we reviewed your report about “e-bay-wei” and
will take appropriate action. We may take a range of steps that include
giving a warning, canceling a listing, restricting or suspending an
    account, or removing PowerSeller status.

We protect the privacy of our members, so we can’t share the results of
our investigation with you. We appreciate you taking the time to file a
report and help make eBay a safe place to buy and sell.

At this point, I suggest you call the seller and explain your side. We
find these issues are often misunderstandings that can be resolved with
    a brief conversation.

To get the seller’s phone number:
    1. Click the “Advanced Search” link near the top of most eBay pages.
    2. On the left side of the page under the “Members” heading, click “Find
    contact information.”
    3. Enter the member’s user ID and the item you’re inquiring about.
    4. Click the “Search” button. You may need to sign in.

When you use this form to request contact information, we’ll send you
the member’s name, phone number, email address, city, and state. To
protect the seller’s privacy, we won’t include the street address. We’ll
send the seller your contact information at the same time.

    Thank you for your time.

    Sincerely,
    Mora

First – thanks everyone for the website. I was hesitant to look it up the first few times because the posts looked spam-like in peoples feedback.

I bought one off this guy too a few days ago and I’m worried about what I’m receiving. I sent him the message below –

    —–

    Hello,

I know you’ve been listed as a seller of fake flash memory in the past but sometimes that happens from the supplier.

I will be running a full memory-test on the unit your sending me and I will post the results in your feedback.

If the unit tests clear 32GB you will receive positive feedback from me and additional orders.

I will also post my results here:

e-bay-wei Ebay Fake Flash Memory Seller Alert – Hong Kong

Can you confirm the memory is in fact 32GB and not hacked 2GB memory chips? Thanks in advance.

    —–

I’ll make it clear to him that I will not remove negative feedback unless I have a working 32GB in my hands, a refund will not do 🙂

I’ll post any responses & how the unit tests when it arrives. I’ll run it through multiple flash memory tests.

e-bay-wei still around, still scamming. He will continue. It’s how you found this site.

    Question.

What are you going to do about it? This site has gotten rid of a lot of sellers, but only when people have the balls to fight back. Sorry you found sosfakeflash but if people would have fought the seller, you wouldn’t be here.

Be nice? You will make more victims. Make your choice.

i bought quite a few stuff from these sellers from HK. i m so mad at myself after reading the reviews.its one of the biggest scam selling such stuff. I am so surprised he is still selling after negative feed back and he is still on Ebay.

There are two new sellers selling an extremely large amount of fake flash products.
    Ebay ID: forever88810
    Ebay ID: haigong208

These sellers have little feedback and are vulnerable to suspension if we work together and report them.
I have already reported their products but need more people to do the same.

E-bay-wei is now ly7589 on ebay

    and Andy-wjm is now hello-9928.

They have changed their names i think sue to the realisation that many ebay users are aware of their previos ebay account names! Lets keep the pressure on them, make complaints to ebay, and bring these scumbags down!

  12. Jason said

    I can’t understand why ebay haven’t dealt with “e-bay-wei” (now “ly7589”) and “andy-wjm” (now “hello-9928”)?

Considering the amount of negative feedback they have received in the last few weeks and no doubt the number of disputes opened, ebay should suspend their accounts immediately.

How can ebay continue to allow them to trade in this way? I thought the rule was 3 strikes and you’re out? Not 300+ negative feedback in 1 month and you can keep on scamming!?!

Shame on you ebay. What have you become?

  13. jimy said

I agreed with you. How the F these guys are on Ebay still after having 400 negative feed back in just a week … I am F so pissed, but do not know what to do . bought bunch of shit stuff from him. No communication, no item it,s been 4 F weeks man. very frustrating. File all my winning and still no result.
Where is Ebay…. What is Ebay doing…

Shame on Ebay……………….What you have become?????????????

And you know what he is F still on ebay selling stuff and making more Victim.

I am so mad all my money is gone..

    BS……………F

I just filed pay-pal disputes against both. They auto-escalated so PayPal must know something is up with those sellers 🙂 Hope to get the cash back! Then I can go back to shopping.

I’m considering filing a complaint to gmail as well about the fake accounts as they are still using their old email addresses:

    andy-wjm@gmail.com
    e-bay-wei@gmail.com

But I dont want them to be immediately blocked from email access in case it negatively affects the outcome from PayPal for us 😛

  15. The_Flash said

    I don’t know what SOSFakeFlash’s stance on the e-mail address issue is, but I know that in some anti-scamming circles (particularly those focussing on 419 scams, although the same policy is not applied to “phone lads” – a specific type of advance fee fraud scammer who claims to be selling goods that they don’t really even have), it’s considered a bad idea to get e-mail addresses shut down, for the following reasons;

1: They can easily create a new one and keep on going – it is likely not an inconvenience to them.
2: If they make a new e-mail address, new victims cannot easily find information because the old e-mail addresses are more likely to be the ones that are easy to find via Google, complete with information relating to them.

Again, I don’t know where SOSFakeFlash stands on this with regard to eBay sellers and suchlike, but I just thought I would mention this. 😛
