Urgent, xprodeal has expanded to 32GB fakes. Badly needed, eBay members to contact people who left positive feedback to test items.

Using private auctions. You will not see eBay item number. This is not a problem. If item number is hidden – it is hiding a fake flash memory item.

If you have a few evenings to spare, contact 5 buyers a night and warn them to test.

No more 32 GB SDHC cards. Hasn’t listed them for some time now. Still has lots of MPx players as private auctions.

    Woo Hoo !!!

I can’t tell you how great it makes you feel to be a part of the fight-back action that ends up getting the bad sellers who ripped you off, removed from EBay.

I’m fired up and ready to move on to the next one.

    It is sweet,isn’t it?

When people choose to say NO! to fraud and also rescue other members there can be a lot of satisfaction that make up for the time and effort.

Cleaning up eBay is not easy. We did not think it would be.

Some of us are old timers, we remember when ebay was a magical place to bid and buy. All sorts of great items almost impossible to find elsewhere. There were a lot of honest sellers and buyers. It was a great place. Will it return?

To everyone taking action and contributing:

    SOSFakeFlash says:THANK YOU!

I was just made aware of your site after Ebay removed Xoldskool and a fellow buyer sent me an email warning me that the memory I bought could be bad and to test. I am currently in the process of trying to get a refund from him for a 32GB SD that turned out to be only 3.5GB. I have been emailing him and getting responses but he wants me to send back the item. I will not send it back until I get a refund. He insists I send it back first. I am not budging. Any other suggestions when dealing with this crook? I think I may open a case with Paypal tomorrow.

I also bought a bad one from Luckybidded and he just refunded my money today. Pay pal closed the case because he gave me a refund but I have not sent back the item. I have a question though… If I do not send it back can he reverse the refund? It is not that I want to keep or use this piece of junk, it;s just that I don’t see why i should go to the hassle of sending it to Hong Kong just so he can presumably resell it. And then I’d also have the hassle of trying to get him to pay for the shipping. Any advice?

    Angela Bozic,

Good for you for fighting back!

xoldskool. File the dispute with paypal ASAP. It is part of their strategy to delay to run out the clock on the paypal dispute window of 45 days. Do not send the item back … even if you get a refund. They will only try to sell it again. Strategy: tell them to pay you in advance for return shipping if they want the item back. Of course they won’t.

luckybidded. The paypal dispute is closed. They can not reverse the refund. Do not send the item back. You are correct. The item is junk and unusable for any important files. Throw the item away or do whatever you want with it. The case is closed.

Consider paying the favour back to the person who warned you and become a Fake Flash Angel to warn other buyers.
