The models sold under the eBay seller obamastores confirmed as Counterfeit, recorded with eBayer ID and eBay Item Number – Standard Procedure. Presented as listed at auction. Counterfeit items tied to criminal activity enjoy no protection. If you bought one of these items from obamastores, you should test immediately with the software H2testw 1.4 . Do not store any important information until you can confirm you have the advertised capacity (minus formatting overhead).
Should your device not report the true advertised capacity:
- Immediately attempt to move any data you have stored on it to another source. Be advised if you have stored more than the reported size from H2testw 1.4, you will not be able to recover it all – you can expect to see errors in the copy back.
- Immediately report to eBay and PayPal to add your voice against this seller.

First of all thanks for the effort you put in this site. It’s very helpful. I made a bidding yesterday but becoming suspicious of the low price searched if anyhthing wrong,found the site.
My bid is the winning bid (from obamastores, reported fake seller) unfortunately. Can I inform ebay through e-mail that his flashes are fake and I will not pay for it? Or maybe him?

obamastores is a serious situation as a fake flash memory seller. The number of items being sold is amazing. Buyers need to be contacted for obamastores and warned to test their usb flash drives before they store data.
We have seen sellers such as obamastores a few too many times.
That you found our site Berel is good news, at least you will not lose your data to a fake usb flash drive.

15 id’s belong to this ring. The fraud is currently estimated in the millions of $. Will you let the id obamastores get away with fraud? If you hate what is happening on eBay, fight back and warn other buyers! Save them from data loss and have them march to PayPal. Do not let the seller id, eBay or PayPal get away with fraud. In cooperation with Beijing’s Haidian and Fengtai Industry and Commerce Departments, South Korean mobile phone manufacture Samsung has identified 88 types of fake Samsung mobile phones in Beijing.
Beijing Haidian Industry and Commerce Department representatives, along with Jin Rongxu, director of Samsung’s Legal Affairs Department, says they found up to 10 kinds of mobile phones using a similar trademark to that of Samsung. Apart from imitating Samsung’s mobile phone types and look, the fake phones used such misspelled names as Samsumg, Amycall, and Samsong which make people think them to be Samsung’s models.
According to local media reports, many buyers of these fake mobile phones purchased these devices from Fangshitong Market in Beijing. The market was later checked by Fengtai Industry and Commerce Department and they identified 78 counterfeit Samsung mobile phones.”
