Fortunately, I got my money refunded at PayPal !!
As I could see, the seller itself refunded the money, as I opened a case at Security & Resolution Center and I got a notification from them:
– – – –
This email confirms that your dispute with is now closed.
Either you have reached a resolution with the seller or the dispute has
been open for more than 20 days.
– – – – –
…and I had that case opened the same day, it hasn’t past for 20 days, so it must have been that the seller made a refund, right?
As of this I hope that the seller is not very much to be blamed, he was obviuselly fooled by someone else with this items…
Regards and I hope all of the buyers will get the refund !

I learned about this site four days ago, read the section titled “battle plan”, and chose this very seller as the one that I would try to bring down, because, to me, it was obvious the seller was peddling fake flash. I contacted ten ebayers in two days that had bought from this seller. I don’t know that I can take any credit for this seller being exposed as there are many others out there working to stop fake flash fraud, but it gives a huge feeling of accomplishment, all the same, having put in the time to warn others and then seeing that seller remove all his flash drive listings from ebay so quickly afterward. I worry that he is just laying low until he feels the heat is gone, but at least in the interim people won’t be victimized by him.
The problem is, the people that would have been his victims will, most of them, just end up being someone else’s victim. I believe if enough of us keep up with contacting ebayers we really can shrink this problem. The most difficult sellers to bring down, I think, will be those who use private auctions. Let’s all rattle our brains a bit to try to come up with ideas and plans to be able to be more proactive with those more slippery fraudsters. I’d love to work with all of you on those “private auction” guys and see them exposed.

Read:
These private auctions are an abuse of eBay’s intent for such listings.
Can’t understand why eBay continues to look the other way, unless they are really desperate for the listing fees.
Frankly anyone on eBay patrol for usb flash drives, or memory cards or mp players should report any listing they see to eBay.
Any listing for these items if the price is below $100 US!
It seems you can’t report every listing for a seller. eBay is sneaky with their cookies. So if more people just report one listing per seller using private auctions each day, then clear their browser cache and cookies the next day we might get somewhere.
Objective?
Flood their email. Force them to take notice. Anyone who is a victim and who reads through articles at this site or has gone through all the obstacles with paypal will have little sympathy for either.
If you feel it is WRONG then fight back. It is time eBay and PayPal start to feel the pain that victims have felt. They just will not listen and they refuse to address the issue.
So patrol, if you see Private Auctions – a listing where it says the eBay buyer id is kept private. Report the listing. As ebay members fight back, more sellers use this auction type. eBay does know what they are doing. But until members object, they will not do anything.
We need to have private auctions stopped for mp players, usb flash drives and memory cards. If you read the article it is obvious that the sellers are abusing eBay.
We also need more people to check the feedback from sellers using this listing type to warn buyers to test!
Does anyone want SOSFakeFlash to publish a list of fake flash sellers not suspended who use this auction type? Do you want a list for only confirmed sellers or do you want a list for any seller who uses this auction type?
Given the deadly nature of private auctions and the fact that SOSFakeFlash’s data for the last 20 months indicates that any seller who uses private auctions is hiding the selling of fakes we would consider a list of all sellers who engage in using private auctions, it is that serious a problem! Let us know what you want…

Publish.
your list is long. suggestion could you make your list shorter? only sellers still selling? if you want us to contact people, make ti easier. A list for private auctions would help.
Why only report 1 listing for a seller and not all the seller has on sale. if you want ebay to notice, it should be all listings. notice. Why clear my web browser if I report a sellers listings ebay?

Just noticed that chenggong1881 is “no longer a registered user”. Nice to get a fake flash seller shut down before powerseller status is obtained.
