Ouch! It’s not exactly flattering to victims, but it pretty much sums up what is going on. 16GB is THE false capacity favorite being sold on eBay. The team at SOSFakeFlash is asking victims of these two sellers to fight back! Will they? Good question. It is up to buyers to contact victims of a fake flash seller on eBay. SOSFakeFlash can’t do it for you. An eBay member is limited to 4 to 5 messages a day. Unless victims contact others, you can expect the problem to continue. If you don’t like what happened to you, say NO! and warn others. It’s your choice. You are the ones who decide if fraud is Okay on eBay or not.

Re advice to contact up to 5 other buyers from silviajune’s positive feedback list. It might be a good idea to select those in the list with say 100 or more feedback, these are more likely to be genuine bidders, the low feedback (yellow star and noobs) could well be part of a well organised shilling ring that was seen to operate during the recent analysis of bidding for this seller.
Worth checking the feedback of your selected buyer for previous purchases too, many junk items at 1p or 10cents is often a good sign of a feedback grooming exercise, in that case your warnings will not be heeded and actually my serve to warn off these members.

Hi Micro
A lot depends on the seller and also the buyer’s country. For some newbies on eBay, they have very sharp teeth and often will stay in the boxing ring to the bitter end! True they might need some coaching from a more seasoned eBayer to get started but that is part of the counseling rescue job.
For those of us who have been fighting the issue for 19 to 17 months we see it is difficult to predict who will test and fight back and who will ignore. Those who ignore, often come here weeks later.
Checking FB for dummy id’s is good.
The eBayer country matters little. Okay at times it is rough to use a google translator but it was also very rewarding too. Some who did not write english worked very hard. In fact, they often ask assistence in a message creation. We do help but will not polish the english – especially if they have to reply.
When a victim is unable to help out in english they do amazing other things. Such as post in their eBay country, at local forums and so on.
It’s a global problem and we need to spread the word to all countries.
For anyone who sends messages
Send. The next day move on to a new 5 messages. Do not get caught up in email tag burning your allowance. Wait at least until you have done 20. Then go back for counseling. The better and more simply your message, the easier it is. Especially as there are internet sites now to consult. It used to be a real problem when there was no internet presence. People’s fingers used to fall off with typing, repeating the same things over and over again. Not now, just about anything a victim needs can be found at this site.
Fake flash seller silviajune is very bad news.
