Why are you publishing on sellers from the past? It’s history. Aren’t you guys going after the current scammers? I find this confusing. Probably not the only one being confused here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Paul

The site is a bit confusing sometimes!! I think the idea is to make people aware of scam IDs that may return. Seems a bit daft to me – after all if you suspect someone on ebay is selling fakes you can just search on each of the blogs for that ebay ID to see if there are any articles about them!

To Paul, Fake Flash Victim and Everyone

We have a duty to victims from the pre – internet era of the FrankenFlash Project. They laid the corner stones for the Project.

These early victims fought hard, few ever saw a refund. If you are succeeding in pulling a refund out of a fake flash seller or PayPal, you can thank them for their battering rams at the gates. They sacrificed their refunds, fell on their swords leaving negatives at a time when it was a guarantee you would not get a refund if you did. They refused to be subject to blackmail – changing feedback for money.

Unfortunately since we did not have a public voice, alerts on their sellers never went out. We owe it to them, to record their fake flash sellers for the public record.

    There is also another reason.

If you examine some of these alerts, do you see any change? No, same old fake usb flash drives, etc are still being sold. The only difference is that fake flash sellers do not try reprogramme them to ridiculous sizes any longer. They try to stay within the current technological parameters and in fact are more conservative.

The favorite fake size is 16GB. The only difference is, smaller bid price, smaller true capacity chip. Funny how they scaled back on the actual chip sizes in the fakes to match the reduced selling price.

There are also some other reasons why we are issuing them along side current ones. No, we are not short on material, anything but if you look at the last two weeks. We can’t explain what those reasons are publically.

What matters most is one thing:

To show respect for fake flash victims, to let them know they are not forgotten and that we honour their sacrifices in battling fake flash sellers, eBay and PayPal.
