You have said it clearly. The data entry team is extremely busy!
Not only that, the team at SOSFakeFlash is wrting up alerts as fast as they can. Not only are current alerts being issued, quiet a few historical alerts are being issued as well, from the time before we had an internet presence.
Why issue the historical alerts? Three reasons:
a) to make it clear that SOSFakeFlash has a very long arm, the info is in the database and we do not forget victims
b)to demonstrate that little has changed, the fraudsters have only downgraded the super sizing of the fakes
c)send a very clear messasge to fake flash sellers, ebay and paypal that we are not kidding about having collected evidence.
We expect that some fake flash sellers are going to have a heart attack. They probably thought they could tip toe off into the night or wade it out until their feedback score reset.
So as fightflashfraud says, report in. We take warning the consumer public very seriously.
Do a good deed to, warn some of your fellow eBay members who left positive feedback for your fake flash seller, especially if is the same item you bought. Some of the SOSFakeFlash team are people who got a warning to test…that is why they help out. Somebody took the time to warn them and they were spared data loss as a result.
Victims of tianshu0525 did a fabulous job of shutting this seller down. Just shows what you can do if you want to!

Hi,
I bought one SD 32 from this seller on 8/5, the list was removed by Ebay 3 days later with the reason below:
Thanks for your interest in this Fixed Price listing:
320402481171 – New 32GB SDHC SD Memory Card Secure Digital 32Go 32 GB
Unfortunately, the item is no longer available for purchase. This is disappointing for everyone, but sometimes it’s necessary to protect you as a buyer.
There are three main reasons why we remove listings:
— The listing doesn’t follow eBay guidelines.
— The item isn’t allowed on eBay or can only be listed under certain conditions.
— The listing contains pictures or words in it that may have created copyright or trademark issues.
If the seller is able to fix the problem and relist the item, we hope you’ll bid on it again.
We apologize for the inconvenience and have many other great deals on eBay. Just go to http://www.ebay.com to continue your shopping today. We hope to see you soon.
Thank you,
eBay Inc.
Please don’t reply to this message. It was sent from an address that doesn’t accept incoming email.

Now I got the SD and it cannot see by Windows XP disk management, diskpart cannot see it too. I found the site and use h2testw 1.4 test the SD. It shows a lot error ” delayed write failed…” caused by hardware failure. The test has not ended yet, it runs at a terrible low speed (281KB/s ) while the seller said SD class 6.
I found the shipping address is the same as above from HongKong.
I did not leave the feedback.
Please advise:
1/ How can I get money back at the least nuisance such shipping back the item to HONGKONG at my own expense?
2/ I will leave a negative feedback of course, and what should I do if the seller do the same ( I am 100% now).
The sad thing is that there is no warning from Ebay, I e-mail to ask one buyer; he said the one he bought is good and recommend me the software h2testw. That is why I bought one.
In the removed listing notice from ebay , again there is no warning about fake flash drive.
Thanks,

You can not leave feedback. The seller has been suspended. If you check your won list you will not be able to access the listing.
Could you have the buyer who said his card was good, to report in to SOSFakeFlash? He/She should send in the details using the information required in the “Report A Fake Tab”, only in that buyer’s case, good results would be expected. It would be the first good report for this seller.
You should file a dispute with PayPal against the seller. A counterfeit fake, should be given brought to your local police station for examination if it is to go anywhere. Both eBay and PayPal know very well, that it is illegal to use the postal system in most countries to send or receive counterfeit merchandise. That applies to false capacity technology for nand flash storage chips. Anyone who is ordered by PayPal to return such an item, is being told by PayPal to break the law. If anything, the false capacity item should go to local law enforcement who might then sent it to eBay or Paypal for further examination. Law enforcement agencies are not subject to the same laws as local citizens in most countries.
eBay is not going to tell you why they removed the listings. They can not. If they did, they would be publicly awknowledging they have a problem with counterfeit and false capacity memory cards being sold on eBay. That would open them up to legal action and potential class action suits.
Given that eBay and paypal know about this seller and his massive fraud, you should not have a problem getting a refund. Check the PayPal guide for telephone numbers you could call (there is additional info in that article for numbers outside of North America with a url pointing to more numbers for other countries.
Saddly, once a seller is suspended eBay members no longer have a voice, there is no place to leave negative feedback, except at this site.
Don’t give up Macarong. Put on your boxing gloves and fight back, just like all the victims before you have. Keep us informed on your progress!

Macarong,
This happened to me too – meaningless message from ebay and seller’s listings vanished so I couldn’t even leave a neg. Paypal asked me to return the drive and there wasn’t even a proper address for my seller!
I followed the advice on this site and told paypal that I would be breaking the law if I sent the drive back and that I couldn’t anyway as there wasn’t a proper address. I did get a refund eventually, so don’t give up!

I think Paypal should do a full refund to anyone bought a fake SD without question asked.
I receive no answer from them.
They and Ebay ( actually ONE) must warning us about the conterfeit product listed.
The sad thing is they just sit and profit on their darling customers’ mistake.
How could it be?
Either sellers or Ebay/Paypal should go to the US court to answer their role in spreading fake products for benefit.
Anyway to call or chat with Paypal directly?
What do I do with Ebay now?
Thanks,
McR

Thank you all,
I did not send anything back.
I am also not exchange e-mail with them.
Paypal has refunded my money and request “no action.”
Ebay should have a message to alert their piggy-bank customers on potential fraud on some specific items.
They are not just sitting there collect money from potential victims and resolve disputes later.
From my experience, items came from China, Hongkong are almost lowest quality and/or fake.
They trap customers in a nuisance of returning non-functional item until buyers lose their patience or tired of e-mail exchanging. They pretend not to receive a return item or lie on replacement item.
I once bought an Asus battery and immediately I must send back for replacement. They tried to ignore a replacement by saying they did not receive it until I said I have a receipt from USP and I will sue USP if they did not receive the item after a month. They accepted they got it but delay a return. They said their post office is in holiday, etc… I actually want to get money back but a dispute time was over and I paid directly from my bank.
After enjoying my angry, they sent another poor one for replacement.
It took me more than 2 months and many e-mail exchange and running back and forth from the local post office. I am almost crazy on their tactic.
The battery has lasted for 1 month with a half price of a good one.
So watch out.
The bad thing is that fake seller all got a high feedback.
In this case, I even e-mail 3 buyers to ask about the CF quality.
I got one answer: GOOD ( see above e-mail) WTF
Again,
From my lesson,
1. I will not buy any item ship out from China or HongKong. USA is the best place.
2. I will pay by Paypal but fund it by Discover ( very easy to file a dispute). Therefore, a dispute time will extend and it is easy to work with credit card than Paypal.
Thank you all, my good people.
