leo.nicole Ebay Counterfeit Sony Flash Seller Alert – China

leo.nicole is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Sony 8GB memory cards of TRUE advertised capacity. Registered in China leo.nicole, differs from most eBay fake flash sellers in that the capacity delivered is the capacity advertised. The problem is that what is advertised under the Sony brand is not a genuine Sony product. leo.nicole appears to offer true capacity, but counterfeit merchandise instead.

One eBay victim reported:

I have over the last couple of weeks been a victim of the fake cards on ebay.
I purchased “2” 32gb cards from ebay user “beautyseals” and they are fake as we can see from the negative feedback and from the comments etc on your site. I did the test and is only an 8gb card.

I also bought “2” 8gb MS pro duo cards from a ebay seller “leo.nicole”. They work as per their capacity but are fakes.

I found this info actually on ebay’s site about counterfeit cards and they fit in exactly to their description.

There is no manual included, the printing is wrong and the heat seals are incorrect as well. The hologram is a fake. You can see the difference as I have visited a store who sells genuine Sony. Also the photo for the adaptor in the auction photo showing the Sony writing on the white plastic end part is not present on the card adaptor supplied to me.
