    Hello,

knowing about the fakes, these seller offers, I bought 3 “shuffle-clones” with 4GB from onlinediscountshop2008. Two of them just arrived, the third one will arrive these days, I think. As expected the h2testw.exe-check confermed, that they have only 1,9 GB (will say 2 GB) – but not 4 GB.

In the past I´ve bought some other items with manipulated flash memory inside from various sellers. Until today I´ve got ALLWAYS ALL my money back. And ALLWAYS I kept the items. If the sellers wanted the items shipped back, I told them, that I would do it – of course – after I would receive ALL my (german) postal fees for shipping back first! (which are much higher than the 7 HKD, which the chinese fake sellers have to pay). Than normally I heared nothing more of them. Sometimes they lament about my negative feedback – to me one seller offered 10 USD too, if I would change my feedback. I answered him, that he should burn in hell for his fraud, because this seller didn´t stopped selling, knowing clearly about the real capacity of his items (after many negative customer-comments about the real capacity). Now he is no longer listed…

If the sellers didn´t refund me, at least I´ve got my money from PayPal.

Best result in getting refunded: 30 minutes after opening the case on PayPal. Worst result: 4 weeks of struggeling and at least refunded from Paypal.

I will further do my best to inform other buyers about this fraud, and on my eBay account´s “me-page” I linked just to your helpful site.

If you are preparing a concerned action against “onlinediscountshop2008” let me know it – i can give at least 3 negative comments to him…

    Kind regards,
    Timo

P.S.: Sorry for my bad English – but I learned it in school long time ago – I would prefer to write in German….

    Herzliche Grüße Timo!

    Grüße an die Heimat.

If only my German was as good as your English! I learned it in school too. Unfortunately the Die, Der, Das along with Nominative, Accusative, Dative, Genitive is something I made a mess of. In English it does not exist.

For the seller, onlinediscountshop2008 he targets Germany a lot. It is best if you can to space your negative FB. If possible can you do it a week apart? I think it affects a sellers score better.

Also could you do it in German?

With a reference to SOSFakeFlash? It is most important to warn in the language of the victims.

Timo, if you would like to write an article in German about your experiences, we would be happy to publish it for you. A lot of victims are in Germany. My grammer would make your eyes cry if I tried write in German. I read German, though a bit out of practice.

We also do not mind people leaving some comments in their own native languages, so long as we can identify the language and use translation to see what was said. Best is if people do a duo comment, a note of an english version to follow, their native language, with an english attempt at the bottom.

This is not a site exclusive to English. Other languages and article contributions in other languages are most welcome! The goal is to get the message out, to help victims everywhere and put an end to the traffic in fake mp players, usb flash drives and memory cards.

    Vielen Dank noch einmal Timo!
