They offered a partial refund as a discount, which I promptly refused. After they declined my offer to give me a refund and I provide photographic evidence that I’ve destroyed the device, I offered to document the drive and return it if they sent me a total refund and a self-addressed postage-paid package. I refuse to pay return shipping for their illegal conduct.

    “hi
    sorry for bringing you trouble.
    please confirm the money.
hope we both can have a happy ending.
    regards”

I’ve no idea whether they intend to send that self-addressed postage-paid package or not, but at least I got my refund.

Same story, 2GB instead of 16GB SDHC card. Seller told me to return item. I said no, it’s illegal to send fake items in the post. Seller offered to pay for postage, I still refused (knowing I’d probably be given a fake address anyway). Seller then offered refund in exchange for positive feedback. Told him this was against ebay rules, please just refund me. Their reply was:

    hi there
you are under the guarantee of both ebay and paypal, while we are not.
    please understand.
suppose you are in our shoes, do you think it’s unacceptable?
hope we both can resolve the problem amicablly between us soon.
    regards

WTF?? They then offered refund in exchange for no feedback. Again, told them just to refund me. Still no refund, so I left negative feedback. Their response was:

    hi
    sorry for bothering you again.
what about we refund you £8.11 to ***@yahoo.co.uk for the item and offer you some discount?
would you please help us to remove the feedback?
hope to hear from you soon.
    regards

    HOW ABOUT NO!!!

I’m contacting as many people as I can who have left positive feedback for these SDHC cards, obviously unaware that they are fake.

    Hi Rodrigo

It appears to me that the seller is attempting to purchase positive feedback from you. This is against EBay policy and you can submit a complaint to ebay.

    How to report…
select item in your purchase history
    report item
    listing policy violations
    feedback related
…..you can then select sell or purchase feedback or terms and conditions that restrict feedback

you may want to submit 2 complaints, one for each type of feedback violations
