This seller promised to exchange or refund my MP4 and did nothing. Unfortunately the 45 days expired, but I am hoping compensation will be possible. I emailed the Pay pal complaint link above just now, and I am about to lodge an official complaint with Ebay. I can’t understand how they can still be doing business!

I got done by this guy too. Turns out I got a refund through paypal too but he was assuring me that he would get a real player out to me. Any way of contacting this guy now?

Me too. First item never arrived. Promised to send me another item, which never arrived. It was only 0.30 pounds, so I forgot. Is there anything I can do to help?

    Hi Katerina,

cypress_network is currently under suspension by eBay. At the moment little can be done for his victims.

You can patrol on and off for his return and alert us or you can subscribe to a feed of our articles and or comments using RSS. If you see a victim comment asking for assistence to warn other buyers for his or her seller you can join in by warning buyers. Almost every alert included the article on how to warn other eBay buyers.

You could also contact eBay sellers in your local region of the world who sell mp players, memory cards and usb flash drives and ask if they have done a proper test for actual capacity. Local out reach to sellers is desperately needed. Unlike eBay contact messages of buyers, you have a much higher daily allowance for “ask the seller a question”… This is proactive. It can save eBay sellers not based in the Orient, those who did not research their products carefully from creating victims who lose their data and files.
