Fake Memory Card eBay Sellers look221112 and bloomboy99 Identified Same Person – Hong Kong And China

eBay Fake Memory Card sellers look221112 and bloomboy99 are connected. While their eBay id’s are registered in China, they shipped out of Hong Kong. Both are currently under eBay suspension. If you bought any memory cards from these sellers please test immediately and file a claim before it is too late.

SOSFakeFlash is observing more eBay fake flash sellers having their id’s registered in China now while in fact they are sending from Hong Kong. Does anyone have any additional information to offer?

A followup: After filing a claim with PayPal under their Buyer Protection Plan that was offered for the eBay auction of these items by look221112, plus a later phone call to PayPal and a further complaint escalation, I conclude that the eBay/PayPal Buyer Protection offer is worthless when items are purchased from overseas sellers. PayPal will refund my purchase price only after an online-verifiable notice of return to the seller. I am not willing to return the item due to the cost of online delivery confirmation for foreign shipments and because the seller may then offer my returned counterfeit to others. The morale of the story is that I’ve learned that for some items, the eBay/PayPal Buyer Protection offer is worthless.
