I bought this item and it was fake 16gb (only 2gb). Seller refunded money and after i gave him a negative feedback he asked me to remove it for 20$ or other flash that is real 16 gb. Now i’m waiting for real 16gb flash. I would write about result here.

eBay fake flash seller chenwubang88 is a problem and is trying to deny what he has sold. Good you let negative. It helps to warn others and to have them test! Asking you to change negative feedback to positive is exhortion and also violates ebay policy.

Often people write to sosfakeflash asking how a seller gets so many positives when the sell fakes. Unfortunately, members often think it is the only way to get their money back. Some times they do, some times they don’t. What we do know is that it only creates more victims and allows the seller to continue.

Let us know if you get a real 16GB flash drive…. We are looking for real sellers. We have found one and soon a nomination will be written and he will be added to the safe seller list.

Yesterday i changed feedback to positive, today “User is no longer registered” xD

I returned my money 3 weeks before leaving feedback, so i got 2gb flash for free =)
Good luck to the seller. Let he believe that he deceived me))

I filed a user dispute with this guy and paypal auto elevated it to a claim since the seller was unable to respond to the dispute. If paypal can’t get anything from seller by the 30th then paypal will decide on their own what to do. He is no longer a registered ebay user and my item transaction info has been removed. I gave paypal a link to this blog so we’ll see what happens!

    To Daniel And Everyone

If you wonder why there is a delay in alerts getting out some times, you now know why. We struggle to preserve the information first, because eBay when they suspend a seller gets the right to flush all of the sellers listings, down the fake flash toilet!

Nice for victims is it not? You can no longer consult the listing you won. Poof! Gone….

While it is great to see a fake flash seller suspended so he can no longer harm people, what about the evidence?

After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
    Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller’s account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.

Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in
question if they become available in the seller’s account in the future and
will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may include
issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the account.
Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors to determine when to take
action, including member complaints. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss
the details of any action taken. We hope you understand our policy and that
it assures you that you are safe using PayPal.

    For Daniel D.

If you paid by useing a Credit Card for your Paypal payment you should consider contacting them and asking for a chargeback.

GREAT NEWS! I contacted eBay after I got the bad news from paypal and the customer support agent thought that paypal’s response was odd. So she contacted paypal once more on my behalf and got them to give me my money back!! The minute she told me that the money was in my account, i checked it and there it was! Restored some of my faith in Paypal and eBay!

Great to hear you got your refund Daniel, but I would think twice about trusting ebay/paypal (same company) simply because you got a refund – one reason is that you were more persistent than most ebayers. Many give up at the first hurdle. The other reasons why you got a refund when many didn’t are more complex.

notice i said SOME….SOME, not all! LOL I will definately investigate the seller much more next time. One thing this incident has taught me is to me a very very smart buyer. So I guess that is some good that came out of it all. Oh yeah, running in to this group was an AWESOME outcome of my incident! Thanks for all the help and support SOSFF!!

    Hello,
last 5th of May, I bought a 16GB pen drive to this seller for 10,4 euros. Real capacity is 1GB. He told me return back the item and he’ll send another. I required him to refund money, but no reply at today.
I opened a reclamation in paypal and sent them all tests and checking done (including h2testw and pictures), where they can see the fake item. After several emails, paypal ask me for documentation from third part. The cost is 70 euros, more or less. I’ve told paypal that they are not serious.
Seller is not longer registered in ebay.
Conclusion: seller doesn’t refund money and paypal wants that I spent 70 euros in order to refund 10.
Sorry for my bad english, but I need to explain my problem.
