markroesmoa Ebay Fake Flash Seller High Alert – China 64GB Generic USB Flash Drives
Posted by KittyFireFlash on April 18, 2009
markroesmoa is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Flash 64GB USB drives just detected and confirmed. Based in China, markroesmoa is busy rolling off 64GB usb flash drive listings on eBay. These 64GB flash drives are even more dangerous then most. Why? They are high quality fakes.
What is a high quality fake?
It is a usb flash drive that has a lot of real capacity and with a flash chip not having a lot of defective sectors. This makes them VERY dangerous.
It will take eBayers much longer to realize they have one and of course begin losing data. SOSFakeFlash at the moment will not reveal the actual capacity of the usb flash drives being sold markroesmoa. It has been a while since we have seen this much capacity. More or less true capacity means little to those who will lose data. Since the war escalated against fake flash sellers on eBay in the fall of 2008, the prices these sellers could command in a sale has steadily dropped. Naturally they began using lower capacity chips to compensate for the reduction in profit.
markroesmoa’s usb flash drives are selling high and therefore the seller is using a larger capacity and better quality flash drive chip. It also means the seller has a better chance of avoiding detection, longer. It is why patrolling eBay is so important. eBay Fake Flash angels are needed. eBayers need to be warned to test! Those who recently lost their data, wished somebody had contacted them to test before they lost everything…
Because the eBay messaging system only allows a member to send 5 messages a day, it is difficult to reach other members to ask about their buying experience and if they are happy with their purchase. Only early testing proves if a usb flash drive is safe or not to use. If you are a victim of fake flash on eBay, reach out and save someone else from your miserable experience. It is often more rewarding then neg-ing the fake flash seller or getting your money back.
A fake flash ebay angel is like a doctor trying to get medicine to victims of the flash flash plague. And you don’t have to go to medical school to be one! Just contact those who recently bought and left positives. If the X-Rays show fake flash in their system – have them do follow up feedback indicating they have a fake and of course, report in to SOSFakeFlash.
