To Kerry
Your comment is echoed by many ebay members. ebay will never admit they have a problem. They have never warned members or contacted them for a seller who has been found out to sell fake flash items.
To do so would be to admit they have a problem and would also make them accountable. It is about money. Profit.
They were able to ignore the problem for many years…until the FrankenFlash Project was born. People had enought! Unfortuantely they are not doing the simple things that could put a stop to it on ebay. Instead they pay lip service and hide evidence.
They do not really seem to care about the problem, only to avoid getting caught. If they were forced to refund every ebay member since this fake flash selling began, there would be no ebay anymore.
If you want your money back you will have to contact them and be prepared to email and email and email until you have your money back. We advise that you do and have the same advice for all ebay victims.
They need to realise that ebay members are not going to take it lying down. Each person who reports a fake to us, is entered into a database. Every item is another nail in their coffin.
eBay could easily address the problem. But they are more interested in profit then they are about ebay members or their welfare.
We are in these difficult economic times precisely because companies have focused on profit at the expense of everything else.
There is a need to return to basics. Honesty. Fair Value. Building customer trust and loyality. In the fake flash arena, ebay only highlights what is wrong with our world. Greed.
Please fight back Kerry. Hold them to account and do not let them wiggle away.
Oddly ebay is a reflection of our global world. If any victim does not like it, then they have to use their VOICE!
To Everyone
If you do not like what happened to you, you need to fight back. Don’t just complain take action. Contact buyers of fake flash sellers we have reported. Get them to test. Have them file disputes and also contact ebay to report the issues and just how they feel about it!
Drive them NUTS!
They deserve it. ebay members have spent 1 year trying to get them to recongize the problem and do something about it!
There is no such thing as No. Keep at ebay until they refund you. Rescue other members – get them to test! Have them file disputes at PayPal and file complaints with ebay.
If you want this problem stopped, put your shoulder to the wheel. If you don’t fake flash seller, ebay and paypal win. You loose.
