szeho663 known as the “Great Grand Daddy of Fake Flash” selling on eBay, has returned to fraud buyers once more. szeho663’s suspension on eBay did not last long. A tap on the wrist will not do, eBay! As a result, this fake flash seller returned to fraud more eBayers in Mid October 2008 to November 1st 2008 – selling exactly the same drives the FrankenFlash Project investigated and documented as being fake (20 confirmed by October 5th, 2008). eBay received many reports – and phone calls about this seller. PayPal also has plenty of disputes on file. Both demonstrated how they are unable or unwilling to stop the sale of fake flash devices. That the “Grand Daddy Of Fake Flash – szeho663” out foxed them speaks for itself.

itchee98 is an eBay powerseller of Counterfeit usb flash drives who is clever and skilled at fraud. This Hong Kong based seller has SOSFakeFlash astonished and in disbelief. itchee98, is estimated to have sold thousands of fake flash items ranging from 8GB to 32GB going back to November 2007. The FrankenFlash project has investigated and documented 43 fakes. When eBayers held him to account for selling fake flash he deregistered from eBay. In less then 8 weeks – he has resurfaced on eBay, to list exactly the same drives we have on file as fake. Shameless is an under statement. Reported to eBay by victims, eBay did nothing.

xiaotian_abc is an eBay seller of Counterfeit Flash Devices. Based in China, this fraudulent seller sold bad handsets to local eBayers in 2007. He switched to selling to Europe and the UK in September 2008. In the period of September 7th to November 1st, 2008 approximately 1500 flash items have been sold by this seller – memory cards and usb pensticks in the 8GB and 16GB advertised capacity range. On September 30th, 2008 to hide his fake flash selling xiaotian_abc switched to private auction listings – in clear violation of eBay’s intent for this auction category. For the few non counterfeit items he sold, public auctions remained in effect.
There is absolutely no doubt about the guilt of this counterfeit seller. It is also believed that this seller operates under different ids. If you have bought any fake flash device – please test immediately – you are at risk of data loss. One eBayer has managed to restore a fake 8GB drive to it’s original size of 1 GB.
