xiaotian_abc Ebay Fake Flash Seller Alert – China
Posted by KittyFireFlash on November 2, 2008
xiaotian_abc is an eBay seller of Counterfeit Flash Devices. Based in China, this fraudulent seller sold bad handsets to local eBayers in 2007. He switched to selling to Europe and the UK in September 2008. In the period of September 7th to November 1st, 2008 approximately 1500 flash items have been sold by this seller – memory cards and usb pensticks in the 8GB and 16GB advertised capacity range. On September 30th, 2008 to hide his fake flash selling xiaotian_abc switched to private auction listings – in clear violation of eBay’s intent for this auction category. For the few non counterfeit items he sold, public auctions remained in effect.
There is absolutely no doubt about the guilt of this counterfeit seller. It is also believed that this seller operates under different ids. If you have bought any fake flash device – please test immediately – you are at risk of data loss. One eBayer has managed to restore a fake 8GB drive to it’s original size of 1 GB.
xiaotian_abc has sold memory cards ranging in size from 2GB to 8GB. He sold an 8 GB and a 16GB flash pendrive.

on your correspondence. This seller has sold 1000’s of counterfeit drives.
As we mentioned this is a seller that is well versed in fraud. He sold bad handsets in China in 2007. Here are some negative and neutral comments left by Chinese eBayers translated into english using BabbleFish.
This seller is a swindler, is called him to repair my handset, the result they not the battery which sends me and flushes the electric appliance to mail to me, relates they also to pay no attention I, I meets their email to retain
Was not the port line, the handset had already opened, ever has not cleaned pastes seals may look that do not believe again this seller, the ultra grading, my in March 17 remittances knew on March 23 only then delivered goods to me, 9 Yuan postages he has actually received 25 Yuan, many calculations burnt the paper money to you!!
The turtle, trash handset already drew back you, why doesn’t refund. Shrinks a view also does not have continually in the shell! Afraid! what 200 cannot calculate regarding me, but was dissimilar to you, lacked the morals person some people will also buy your thing? Draws cash buys the medicine to eat. Feels relieved eats, I will have the opinion.
Was swindled, I have bought a T68 handset in this family, they in sold time said that was brand-new, but I received arrival of shipment’s time was not good, has the very big electric current sound, moreover also automatically closed down, finally I went to the handset shop inspection, the result am have repaired, like this too the time deceived the customer, therefore told the net friends not to on me same work as
eBayers are victims everywhere, even in the land where fake flash is born. eBay likes profits and is happy to make them any way they can. From you, from a Fake Flash seller. Do not be deceived on their “Buyer Protection” spin. In six months the only thing clear to SOSFakeFlash is that eBay wants to protect it’s earning. Not Buyers. Not sellers if they are found out. They will race to sweep evidence and listings under the rug if there is a scandel brewing.
Test any item you bought from this seller. If you want to contact buyers let us know. Unfortunately we can only identify eBayers before September 30th, 2008. Anyone who bought after that date has fallen into the black hole of private auctions – lost – unless they can find this post!
Patrol this seller. If you see any new listing appear for flash devices and under the private auction category – report to the listings to eBay. There will be a link to do this at the bottom of the listing page.

I looked at the seller’s feedback and found some negative and the name of an utility “H2testw”. I googled for it and went on this website. I have read many useful articles and other stuff, thanks a lot. Especially, I found that the seller is well-known for fakes and frauds. Then, I composed the following message to seller (from EBay):

——— END OF SELLER MESSAGES ——–
I have opened a dispute on Paypal reporting that I receive fake item (”imitation” checkbox) with the message above. I was very surprised that several minutes after I got a message: “the seller has refund you..”. I was so pleased and proud of myself – it was the perfect finish for a working day.
So, people, in general:
I. My FAKE 8GB USB Drive is actually 1GB in capacity with a MW6208E controller and Toshiba TC58NVG3D4CTGI0 memory unit.
II. You can fix your drive with an utility http://www.bloggybloggy.com/randomdownloads/UdTools1.0.4.0B_20080714.zip
just click on the button with your drive disk name (ex. “X:”)
III. The seller is, in my opinion afraid of HK Police 🙂 so he did a quick refund to me.
IV. Thanks people for this website – I was pleased and proud of you, you do the right thing, thanks again!
