xiaotian_abc Ebay Fake Flash Seller Alert – China
Posted by KittyFireFlash on November 2, 2008
xiaotian_abc is an eBay seller of Counterfeit Flash Devices. Based in China, this fraudulent seller sold bad handsets to local eBayers in 2007. He switched to selling to Europe and the UK in September 2008. In the period of September 7th to November 1st, 2008 approximately 1500 flash items have been sold by this seller – memory cards and usb pensticks in the 8GB and 16GB advertised capacity range. On September 30th, 2008 to hide his fake flash selling xiaotian_abc switched to private auction listings – in clear violation of eBay’s intent for this auction category. For the few non counterfeit items he sold, public auctions remained in effect.
There is absolutely no doubt about the guilt of this counterfeit seller. It is also believed that this seller operates under different ids. If you have bought any fake flash device – please test immediately – you are at risk of data loss. One eBayer has managed to restore a fake 8GB drive to it’s original size of 1 GB.
