Not really clear on the recourse above but will endeavor to persevere.

Fakes from i.t.smart-electronics are also sent out from the same address which suggests that there is a connection there too. Persist and get refunds from all fraudsters as I did.

Yes I suggests those people are the same. Do you have the address for itchee98? What about i.t.smart-electronics?

I think they are not the same person. I think that is people who offer products purchased by dropship. That would explain why they have the same address.
Yesterday, I recieved the item that I buyed and I don’t have any problem (maybe not yet.

This message is for Mac – I think I may be the person that alerted you – I was horrified (if I am correct in thinking you are the person I am thinking of) when I realised that you could unwittingly have opened yourself to prosecution through the UK courts if you resold these drives. Go back through your Ebay correspondence and send me a message if I am right and send me a message referring to this that shows your email address so that we can correspond directly by email. I will try to advise you to the best of my ability.

oops – just typed a bit of gobledygook in the above by not reading through before submitting!

Mistral – file a PayPal dispute and follow the advice on this site.

Hi fakestopper – address i.t.smart-electronics sent from is as shown at the top – same as the others. Think they asked me to return the drive to a different address – which I didn’t – no one should. I retained my fakes as evidence in the hope of getting these fraudsters prosecuted in a court of law (and possibly Ebay and Paypal too, as accessories to fraud, if they don’t pull their socks up!) if I can.

My 32GB from David Tam is only 8GB. Getting my money back from the Paypal so-called buyer protection is an exercise in frustration, slides and dives and ducks!

I forgot to mention that David Tam is again registered on EBAY.. so get your negative feedback in and beware of buying from him.

I would like to open a new thread/topic – can I do this?
The listings I’ve put up recently on Ebay to warn fellow ebayers about fake flash have (unlike earlier listings)not been taken down – many thanks to those who gave me advice.
I’ve had many messages thanking me for my help – if we all keep going I think we’ll get ebay and paypal to act more decisively against fraud in the end. One person who thanked me said that they (ebay/paypal) should be paying me, instead of it costing me money – too true!

Chai Ching 28 caved, almost immediately. Refund was back in my PayPal account within 72 hours of raising the dispute and leaving negative feedback (might have been quicker ; I’ve not had time to check my PayPal account and eBay messages much more frequently, having a life).
The only continuing conversation is pathetic bleating for me to remove the negative feedback. My comment has been :
For other people’s information, chaiching28 appears associated with these email accounts :
Given the correspondence above, does anyone want to open a book on me removing the negative feedback?
Well, it’s been an entertaining foray into the underside of eBay. At least I’ve got my money back (and a rather shoddily-made 4GB memory stick) from the experience. In future, I think it’ll be conventional internet shops for memory sticks, not eBay.

Just got a fake. 16 GIG SDHC, that formats into about 50KB. Works. But not big enough to do anything. What a scam.

Just chanced upon this site when researching another website http://bigflashdrive.com/, it seems to be created by the same set of people mentioned in the posts above.
I have bought a $169 .. 256gb kingston usb drive from them, havent received it from them yet. But based on the experiences listed above I am almost 100% sure I will get a fake. Once I receive the product I will start pursuing paypal to dispute the transaction.
Since it has been only 2 days since I placed the order , i dont see many options.. Any ideas / advice ?
just placed an order as well said
I just placed an order not even an hour ago from http://bigflashdrive.com as well. I paid using paypal. I hope that gives me some leverage to get a refund when I do recieve what I also beleive will be a fake drive… Damnit..wish I looked for info before purchasing 😦
