shinich918 is an eBay seller of Counterfeit usb flash drives. He has just been detected and we have one 16GB on file. Guilt is further demonstrated by this seller switching his feedback to private. This is done by a fake flash seller to hide the evidence from buyers who are trying to find out if others had the same problem. The number of eBayers frauded is unknown. SOSFakeFlash has only one on file, auction period August 2008. We can not investigate further as shinich918 has chosen to hide his fake flash deeds. If you bought a flash drive from shinich918 please read on.
If you bought from shinich918 and confirm you have a fake it is possible for us to build more evidence. You will need to contact us at SOSFakeFlashDrive@gmail.com and give us the eBay item number and your eBay id. It will be the only way to find the listing you bought.

This is the models sold. It is confirmed as Counterfeit, recorded with eBayer ID and eBay Item Number – Standard Procedure. Presented as listed at auction. Counterfeit items tied to criminal activity enjoy no protection. If you bought one of these usb fake flash drives from shinich918, you should test immediately with the software H2testw 1.4 . Do not store any important data on the drive until you can confirm you have 16 GB (minus formatting overhead) for the 16GB Model.
Should your drive not report the true advertised capacity:
- Immediately attempt to move any data you have stored on the drive to another source. Be advised if you have stored more than the reported size from H2testw 1.4, you will not be able to recover it all – you can expect to see errors in the copy back.
