PayPal Shields EBay Fake Flash Seller 3ToTrade – Odyssey of IronCliff

Posted by KittyFireFlash on September 14, 2008

eBayers continue to battle eBay fake flash seller 3ToTrade. 94 counterfeit drives have been investigated and confirmed fake as of September 14, 2008. PayPal has been warned repeatly – eBay too. SOSFakeFlash is convinced that both companies have serious issues in addressing fraud – their communication channels to dialogue with customers almost non-existent. It is a small wonder then, why counterfeit flash drive sellers have had a wonderful life on eBay for so many years. They pull the strings and both companies dance in confusion.

Many eBayers with fake flash drives actually believed in PayPal and eBay. Remember IronCliff?

Here is the sad ending of the next chapter for IronCliff.

Hi.

For any of you who doesn’t know my story I’ll just say that I was cheated by several sellers and 3TOTRADE is one of them.

I opened a claim aginst them and I got the answer by PayPal that I have to send the fake USB drive back in 10 days and then I’ll be refunded.

I tried to answer the seller via PayPal system that I won’t send back anything before being refund, but I didn’t succeed, so I sent the message through ebay and also wrote email to PayPal support cener.

I got answer that it will be investigated. (see PayPal – How Investigations On Counterfeit USB Flash Drive Sellers On Ebay Could Be Raised )

Meanwhile I went to business trip for 6 days, when I came back, I recieved that announce:

We have concluded our investigation into the following claim:

Seller’s Name: Chiu Sui Chun
Seller’s Email: 3totrade@gmail.com
Seller’s Transaction ID: 0VU31124R1151254H

Transaction Amount: -xx.xx GBP
Your Transaction ID: BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB
Case Number: 00-000-000-000

Buyer’s Transaction ID: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Our records indicate that you never responded to requests for additional
information about this claim. This claim has been cancelled, we hope that
you have worked out this situation amicably with your seller.

Thank you for your cooperation.

We’ve asked IronCliff, FlashDad and others who have had their claims closed on them, to once more contact PayPal at the Complaint Response email address – force them to be reopened – following FireFox’s example. He persisted over and over and over again until PayPal finally gave in and refunded him. The problem with that is it appears PayPal just wanted FireFox to GO AWAY! To get rid of him, they refunded. That is NOT all that FireFox wanted – he wanted PayPal to do a proper investigation, not just sweep his complaint about Fake Flash selling by the counterfeit ring under the rug.
