We hope this list helps you. Fake memory capacity occurs when the chips have been digitally altered to lie about their real size to operating systems. This leads to information loss once the true size of the chip is exceeded. You will not be able to recover files beyond the real capacity of the chip, they were not copied, they do not exist on the flash memory chip.

Note for update June 13th, 2010 we have not checked for suspended sellers returning to sell fake memory.
We’ve noticed a lot of sellers under a 6 month to 1 year suspension returning! So much for eBay buyer protection. Read, fake flash seller protection! 😕
Kick them back to suspension folks! Only YOU can do it. Let’s give the sellers a message they will understand!

and perform the testing. Once done, review information at this site, there is plenty of help available in articles from previous victims.
The results of h2testw speaks plainly. The current lists document over 1158 ebay sellers.
Just how many are needed in number? If 95% of all usb flash drives, memory cards or MP players are fakes, do we really need a list?
h2testw software which is free provides the answer eBay members need. Everyone is advised to read:

The software is free. It does not install all sorts of things in the operating system too. A stand alone programme. There is no better software out there.
At this point lists are helpful but we think we made our case. We will update as soon as we can. Most likely for August to increase the evidence againts eBay. Issueing alerts is even more important. Our sites are busy. More volenteers are needed. More action from frauded buyers too.
