Did You Leave Positive Feedback For A Fake Flash Seller Of MP Players, Memory Cards Or USB Flash Drives Purchased On eBay?
Posted by kittyfireflash on August 14, 2009
Did You Leave Positive Feedback For A Fake Flash Seller Of MP Players, Memory Cards Or USB Flash Drives Purchased On eBay? You are not alone!
Most people only give a quick inspection of their item, they don’t test the full advertised capacity. Afterall, who expected to receive a false capacity item in the first place? Never test by looking at what the operating system tells you about the size, that is the classic trap!
Fake items advertised at 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 120GB, 128GB, 240GB, 360GB, 500GB, 512GB have been digitally altered to lie about their real capacity. Test with H2testw.
You can add to your positive feedback, by doing “Follow Up FeedBack”! Let everyone know the truth!
By putting keywords such as “SOSFakeFlash” and “H2testw” along with the real size and the word FAKE, you can warn others. Fake Flash Sellers hate it! Victims love it!
Don’t forget, if you are still in your claim window race off to PayPal and file a dispute against the seller to get your money back.

Full Report Ebay 200804 – 200905 Counterfeit And Fake Memory Cards, MP Players, Flash Memory USB Pensticks Sold On eBay By Seller To Help You Recognize The Fakes
Posted by techchips on June 6, 2009
The new edition of the master report on eBay fake flash devices sold by seller now contains 13 months of data. Presented to you by the FrankenFlashProject this new report contains 390 sellers and 1,044 models, the majority with photos used at auction. Previously this report was referred to as the fake flash sellers mug shot report.
In the early months of the battle to rid eBay of these fraudsters, there was less emphasis on documenting and preserving all the fakes investigated. At the time, SOSFakeFlash and Ebayers Against Fake Flash Devices thought through effort and arm twisting eBay would finally wake up after fives years and address the issue. They did not.
Instead, they attempted to hound and persecute those who worked inside eBay addressing the issue and promoting awareness. Many found themselves suspended or locked out, but for each fake flash angel whose wings were singed another soon stepped forward.
As SOSFakeFlash kept investigating and publishing alerts, eBay began to suspend sellers. At first you might think this is postive, but it also gives eBay the ability to immediately remove all of the sellers listings current and previous; to prevent any further negative feedback from accumulating against a seller. As a result SOSFakeFlash documents in advance to ensure evidence remains and is preserved. While this creates a lot of additional overhead and work, it is necessary so that you might have the master report.
This file is in pdf format. 2.1 MB is size. Contains 65 pages and is in colour.
You the eBay victims, have made this report possible. By reporting to us using the report a fake tab and by fake flash angel cells sending their contributions, together you build this list! It is something no one can deny. It also means people who have said there is a problem on eBay all these years were not making it up. It is real. Of course eBay already knows this, they just do not want the global public to find out. Get your report and review it for yourselves. What are your conclusions?
Continue to fight back. Contact fellow victims of your fake flash seller and rescue them. You will find some willing to join you if you show you are committed to having the seller REMOVED. If you look at the eBay Fake Flash Sellers List and review the current one you will see many fake flash sellers are under suspension. That is the power of YOU!

PayPal Telephone Numbers – eBay Fake Flash USB Flash Drives, MP Players Memory Cards
Posted by kittyfireflash on June 5, 2009
eBay buyers who file claims against sellers of fake usb flash memory sticks, MP Players and memory cards often find themselves drowned in email robotic responses that have the intellegence of a peanut.
This is because responses are cut from templates, no real intellgence is required. Contacting Paypal by telephone requires a person respond to you. The results can be varied but it is better than an email robot. You should explain the situation and not let the person brush you off or give you a story – demand escalation or that they contact a supervisor immediately you feel they are not helpful.
If you need to settle a claim, try to call. Use toll free numbers if you can. Eric has contributed telephone numbers he found for you to call and a link with more information.
Please use this post to leave additional telephone numbers in your country and also email addresses. Use other Paypal posts to leave comments on the status of your cases. Let’s try and build a complete reference list to assist eBay fake flash victims around the world.

PayPal Demands Aids Criminal Activity – Danger! eBay Refunds For Fake Flash USB drives – Fake MP Players – Fake Memory Cards
Posted by kittyfireflash on May 11, 2009
eBay and Paypal orders victims of fake flash purchases to return the crime to the criminals as a condition of refund. What happens? When victims of fake flash purchases on are ordered to return the items, SOSFakeFlash considers it aiding and abeiting criminals and sheltering them to continue in their black market activity. Selling fake MP Players, fake usb flash drives and fake memory cards is big business on eBay and has harmed many with data loss. In forcing members to return items as a condition of refund both ebay and PayPal participate in the crime, they force members to violate the laws found in most countries that prohibit using the local postal system to send or receive fake and counterfeit goods. Some eBay members are not aware of this. Others are but because eBay and PayPal refuse to listen and as they have suffered a serious financial loss attempt to examine the possibility of returning the items. What happens to eBay members when then return the items? Do they get a refund? What are the challenges many eBayers face when they try determine where to send the items back?
A recent case involving eBay Seller worldshiping12699 and eBay Buyer BarryX is presented to demonstrate the problems.

SOSFakeFlash Message to eBay And PayPal on Fraud for MP Players Memory Cards And USB Flash Drives
Posted by kittyfireflash on February 10, 2009
At our “report a fake” Tabs – we begin with a reminder to you both and to eBayers of recent lawsuits against you. It was a warning. It was also to educate people that you been brought to task before. We said:
Any company who had been involved directly or indirectly with a transaction involving fake flash – ie counterfeit goods is liable and responsible – if they chose not to respond to the situation or take the warnings issued by customers seriously. To ignore the issue is to condone it.
You both have had opportunity to address the situation. You chose not too. So we turned up the heat. Exactly what temperature do you need before you choose to address the situation and also to come clean before the public?

eBay Cover Up – Sale of False Capacity and Counterfeit MP Players Memory Cards USB Flash Drives
Posted by kittyfireflash on February 9, 2009
eBay is trying to cover up the truth and has not changed it’s behavior, prefering to evade taking responsibility for fake (false capacity) MP Players, Memory Cards and USB Flash drives sold sellers on eBay. The old song and ever so lame excuse of eBay and Paypal being seperate companies, is still being sung. It is a tune SOSFakeFlash is all too familiar with. eBay hopes members are willing believe in this song. It is common knowledge eBay set up Paypal. Who cares about the fine details of corporate seperations. The two companies can easily cooperate and communicate if they wish to. They have no difficultly integrating to forward you from eBay to Paypal in an easy swing to pay for your purchase. When it comes to taking your money they are integrated, When it comes to refunding you, they are un-integrated and put walls as high as K2. Odd?

Ebay Begins To Address Issue Fake Flash Device Sellers
Posted by kittyfireflash on January 24, 2009
Evidence is now appearing that Fake Flash Sellers of false capacity MP Players, Memory Cards and USB Flash drives are being removed by eBay. Listings are down. Many sellers based in the Orient have stopped selling – anything. There are still individual listings for known fakes appearing in the United States and United Kingdom. Canada is showing signs of becoming active in offering these items. SOSFakeFlash is not sure if this is a reroute attempt to continue or if it is simply recent acquisition from disreputable wholesalers.
If you have bought any MP Player, Memory Card or USB Flash drive on eBay in the last three months you should test the item immediately for it’s actual capacity against the advertised capacity. Report any false capacity device to SOSFakeFlash without delay – see Report A Fake. You have little time as the evidence trails are disappearing.
