k-boxz sells MP Players advertised at 8GB capacity, but you will be lucky if the flash drive storage chip holds 2GB of files. They have been reprogrammed to lie about their real capacity. As usual, most victims think the mp player is defective, few suspect it is the actual flash chip. How can a 2GB flash chip store 8GB of data files?
Every day k-boxz creates a long line of new victims. Consumers actually think they can buy an 8GB MP player for $20 US or even less. On April 26, 2009 SOSFake Flash issued: k-boxz Ebay Fake Flash Seller Alert Deregistered – China k-boxz was suspended and sent to eBay fake flash prision for two months. Why? Selling the exact same fake flash players currently rolling of the eBay listing line. As soon as the suspension ended, did k-boxz change his ways, move to a new product line. No. k-boxz did what all fake flash sellers do, start up selling the same fake mp players.
If you bought an MP Player from k-boxz you need to test it’s true capacity immediately! Read: H2testw 1.4 – Gold Standard In Detecting USB Counterfeit Drives File a claim with Paypal and make sure you leave negative feedback with out delay! Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device. As a good deed, warn other buyers of k-boxz. Pick any positive feedback page within the last 20 days (claim window) at random and start warning buyers. It is your RIGHT to exchange and share your eBay buying experience with other members. You can only send 4 to 5 messages a day, so get others who respond to you and confirm a fake to join in! k-boxz is currently estimated to have sold more than 3,000+
Don’t forget to leave the calling card of “SOSFakeFlash” and “H2testw” in your feedback to help others. Do not change your feedback to get a refund – you will only create more victims.

SOSFakeFlash usually publishes internet alerts on investigated fake flash sellers on ebay. The problem with fake 16GB usb flash drives is escalating! See: Escalation In False Capacity USB Fake Memory eBay! SOSFakeFlash News July 3rd, 2009
With the assistance of ebay victims SOSFakeFlash publishes consumer alerts. As a result eBay sellers who engage in fraud, soon receive suspensions on eBay. Unfortunately the moment they are shut down, they simply pull a new Id from their arsenal. Sellers of fake usb flash drives, prepare. They know that an organization is after them and is trying to prevent such sales on eBay.
Their solution? Simply switch to a new id, and continue. Is it any wonder why the problem of false capacity nand based flash drives continues on eBay and why the issue is over 5 years old? Millions of dollars have been made in this fraud on eBay and it will just continue. Unless….
Because of the the escalation and as eBay refuses to address the issue, SOSFakeFlash has no alternative but to take a more aggressive approach. It is the only way to reduce the number of victims. In issuing an alert on seller ssilviajune, you can consider this a preemptive strike.
We ask eBay members to contact anyone who has purchased a usb flash drive from silviajune. Ask members who leave positive feedback to test immediately! See H2testw 1.4 – Gold Standard In Detecting USB Counterfeit Drives
If they confirm they received a fake usb flash drive, ask them to use the report a fake tab and send in their results – immediately so that SOSFakeFlash can issue a “Formal” internet alert against silviajune. The very fact that we dare to issue this warning must tell you something. We are not foolish and have an established reputation. These are the usb flash drives offered by the eBay seller known under the id of silviajune.
We invite you to research our site. Where have you seen internet alerts before? Which seller id’s?
As always, make sure you send in the addresses. It is how we build connections between seller id’s. Currently the bid prices are generally below $20 US. This means but one thing, a fabulous price for 16GB = a fabulous fake. At the moment, these fake usb flash drives are in transit to the pending victims. Please patrol silviajune’s feedback and immediately contact any buyer for these flash drives. Have them do immediate follow up feedback indicating the truth. In doing this, it will be possible to shut this id down more quickly and reduce the number of buyers who are likely to become victims.
We await your detective work to determine which previous alerts match the models being offered! Let’s try and stop thes seller is before he has a chance to make a lot of money. Send a clear message that you, the eBay member refuse to tolerate fraud!

SOSFakeFlash is issuing a warning on ebay seller upcomingtrend. You are strongly advised not to bid or buy any 16GB usb flash drives from this seller. The listings are rolling out on ebay with alarming speed. They are being sold at prices below the true costs of the flash chips and are suspected of being false capacity. You should not put any data on these usb flash drives unless and until you can confirm the advertised capacity – you risk losing your data files if you exceed the actual capacity of the flash drive chip. There are a lot of fake MP Players, memory cards and usb flash drives being sold on eBay. The FrankenFlash Project is struggling to free eBay from these devices that cause so much pain to buyers when they lose data. The project is also trying to educate the global public about the problem – it can be found everywhere now.
On eBay a lot of buyers are puzzled about why their sellers are listed in one country but they receive merchandise sent from another. Unfortunately many eBay Sellers use “drop shipping” and do not carefully inspect their merchandise. As a result they are paying the price when eBay members find out that they have received fake and counterfeit items. All sellers need to be careful about what they sell, whether on eBay or elsewhere.
Recently FakeFakeNews published a great article we think everyone needs to read – sellers and buyers alike. You will learn about what this drop-shipping is and why it can be very dangerous.

MP Players are hot on eBay! Beware. 8GB and 16GB Players with MP3 or MP4 are likely to be fakes or counterfeits if you bought at low prices. If you are lucky your MP player will be 2GB or 4GB – not more.
Fake MP Players on eBay are an old story and it’s been around for several years. Every day there is a new crop of victims. Why? Bargain hunting! SOSFakeFlash has no choice but to issue this warning. Do not buy any MP Players on eBay advertised as 8GB or 16GB. Period! Stop looking for bargains! You are not going to get a real 8GB or 16GB at $25 to $50.
We know that economic conditions are hard, but you need to be realistic about paying fair prices. If you want to pay less and get more – welcome to fake flash hell!
You might find SOSFakeFlash’s words harsh. They are. Too many people are being frauded and few get their money back. Many eBayers are conned into believing their MP Player is “defective”. There is nothing defective in reprogramming a flash drive chip to lie about it’s size!
Make sure to look at the reference reading presented below for additional information and advice. Also see the list of eBay Sellers caught selling fake MP Players as of April 4th, 2009 at the end of this article
Most of the Fake MP Players are coming from sellers in Hong Kong and China. There appear to be two distinct rings operating under many id’s. It is a fake flash collective. Beware that due to SOSFakeFlash’s internet presence eBay sellers are now listing advertising local countries. You will only realize the truth when your MP Player arrives.
The profits from selling fake MP Players is mind numbing! Current estimates are 1 in a 250 sold leads to a PayPal dispute, that is 249 ahead. Both eBay and fake flash seller are dancing with fake flash profit joy – at your expense!
Avoid the misery of filing disputes. The pain grows when eBay quickly suspends the seller, whoops all listings gone, all evidence gone. You will have to crawl under the hood of your Paypal account and do a lot of extra digging to file a dispute when a seller is deregistered.
eBay and PayPal are not not going to make it easy for you. The harder the better. After all they don’t want to refund you. eBay has never warned members who bought from a fake flash seller and they never will. Why? It means admitting to the fact they have a problem.
Never pay for an MP Player using your bank account, use your credit card with PayPal. It gives you a better chance of recovering your money. PayPal hates it. Fake flash sellers will hate it more! PayPal may say they can’t refund you because they need to get to the fake flash sellers funds. Funny how quickly they will claw back the money from the fraudster when the credit card company does a reversal!
For now, do not buy MP Players at 8GB 16GB with MP3 MP4 on eBay. Save up until you have enough to buy a real one locally. There are just too many fakes. eBay is not cleaning things up, instead they registering sellers so they can remove listings and all traces of what these scammers sold! The fraud is astonishing.
If you bought an MP Player on eBay, tested it and found out you have a fake, make sure you leave a negative immediately! File a dispute afterwards. Never withdraw your negative in exchange for a refund. Never return a fake with the hope or promise of your refund. Also be a good citizen and do your part – contact other buyers who left positive feedback and get them to test! If you left positive feedback – do follow up feedback indicating that you really bought a fake! Add in your feedback the web address sosfakeflash.wordpress.com – our calling card and message to fake flash sellers and to assist other eBayers trying to find the truth and get help!

eBay and false capacity usb flash drives. It never ends. Money blinds them. Profit at the expense of members rules. Sellers of fake flash rule eBay. Why? eBay desperately needs the crumbs of fake flash profit. These sellers are happy to give eBay a little share for protection. Meanwhile eBay members suffer the consequences. No matter how hard members try to alert eBay to the problem – eBay ignores. The dance of the fake flash profits is just too alluring.

jinyu_zheng is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Flash USB drives. Based in China jinyu_zheng abused eBay’s intent for private auction listing to sell a 16GB fake flash drive – the oldest classic fake. Using private auctions has earned him the classification of devious. Current estimates are over 1400+ sold. jinyu_zheng also sold MP Players recently along with memory card readers – he switched to the delights of selling fake flash 16GB pen drives because the profits were irresistable. Unlike other sellers he did not sell them cheaply but offered free shipping as an enticement. If you bought a usb pen drive from this seller you are at risk of data loss.

allproductsold1 is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Flash USB drives. Based in Hong Kong this seller targeted the UK and Europe with a vengence using private auctions to hide his counterfeit flash drive selling. He earned the classification of devious. 2228+ items have been sold, almost all 32GB fake flash drives. Knowing he was being found out he just turned his feedback to private, this makes him double devious. SOSFakeFlash is rushing this alert out the door for his victims to find.
Trying to use private auctions is no longer a good hiding place. Ebayers are turning over the rocks and dragging fake flash sellers from their dark hiding places. It may be more difficult and it might take longer but they will be found. What is amazing is not simply the number of 16GB drives sold, it is how much money allproductsold1 has earned. He is a perfect example of what is wrong with eBay. eBay is powerless in addressing sellers of fake flash it seems and when sellers like allproductsold1 exploit eBay’s weakness there is good money to be made. Do you know just how much allproductsold1 has earned with his fake flash scam?

516erenkoy01is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Flash USB drives. Based in the United States this is one of the most slick fake flash sellers ever. He is very clever. Over 960 flash drives were sold. He is currently lying low. When an eBayer found him out, what did he do? Refund at lightening speed, apologizing, claiming defect. By doing this, few claims hit PayPals radar. Nice is it not? If one person in a 100 crys foul, he is still 99 drive sales ahead. He is accomplished in his lies – so many eBayers believed him and did not leave negative feedback allowing more victims to fall into his profit pit. 516erenkoy01is first 24 sales where for boots. Was that his calling card? The intention to walk all over eBayers?
