Carol-World’s About Us

Carol-World's About Us

This would seem honest but it is not. Nice try Carol-World aka mobystore! Thanks to your victims you have been caught. You might try the defective nonsense, but there is no such thing! You have been selling 2GB usb flash drives that have been digitally altered to report 16GB to operating systems.

Just how does Carol-World’s propose to offer:

We guarantee 100% customer satisfaction without negative or dispute case. If your item is not as described or faulty when you receive it we will full money refund for you with no additional charge.

100% customer satisfaction when selling usb flash drives that destroy customer files? The purpose of leaving negative feedback is to warn other buyers! It is also to leave a record for eBay. The purpose in filing a dispute is to ensure that paypal also has a record, besides forcing a refund.

Carol-World aka mobystore shows just how it is possible for fake flash memory sellers to pervert eBay as a selling place and to set their own rules. eBay’s rules mean absolutely nothing to them.

American Fake Flash Memory Seller Returns For Another Round Of Fraud On eBay. Accomplished In Claiming Defective, Rude To Buyers – clicktoblue.

Posted by kittyfireflash on October 29, 2009

Fake flash memory sellers on eBay have many personalities. In the Orient, most are extremely “polite” as they engage in fraud, it is an art. Elsewhere frauding sellers have a habit of losing their temper when found out. The one thing they have in common is an addiction to the profit selling fake (false capacity) flash memory items on eBay can generate. clicktoblue is no exception. This eBay seller has returned for another round of fake flash selling, this time offering 32GB capacity. He is very skilled at claiming “defective” if a buyer finds something wrong with the usb pen flash drive he sold. He is also very bullish and rude!

Since October 2009 he is offering 32GB capacity at fabulous prices with multiple item listings in buy now, $29.95 US. Last time he sold 16GB fakes for only $19.95 US.

Will clicktoblue be allowed to succeed in his fraud again? It is up to you. His buyers who left positive feedback for the 32GB usb flash drives need to be warned to test them! Have victims record sosfakeflash in their feedback and follow up feedback this time. As always, have victims submit evidence using the report a fake tab .

This time…. SOSFakeFlash would like a buyer to open and photograph the usb flash drive. Unfortunately of the four models currently sold only one will open. (see Proving A Fake USB Flash Memory Pen Drive Stick Pen To Be False Capacity – A Visual Example – Guide Made Easy )The black classic and ancient usb flash drive sold on eBay! The others are sewn and glued, if opened they can not be put back together. The only good news about clicktoblue on eBay is that he confines his fraudulent activites to the United States.

NobelDefender – Victim of eBay Fake Flash Memory Seller wholesalestore09. How The Internet Helped To Find Out The Truth. Observations,Testing.

Posted by kittyfireflash on October 10, 2009

NobelDefender is a victim of eBay fake flash memory seller, wholesalestore09. On October 7, 2009 SOSFakeFlash published: wholesalestore09 Ebay Fake Flash Seller High Alert Devious – China

On the same day, NobelDefender wrote to SOSFakeFlash to share his story:

Hi there

Thanks for putting up such a fantastic site, wish I knew of it before I bought and became a victim of a fake flash drive!! The details you require for putting up this sellers information is here:

Your output from H2testw 1.4: The media is likely to be defective.
105.9 MByte OK (216960 sectors)
5.3 GByte DATA LOST (11280512 sectors)
Details:5.3 GByte overwritten (11280512 sectors)
0 KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 0 sectors)
0 KByte corrupted (0 sectors)
64 KByte aliased memory (128 sectors)
First error at offset: 0×00000000069f0000
Expected: 0×00000000069f0000
Found: 0×00000007ee300000
H2testw version 1.4

Item is still listed. The description says 32 GB Brand New 32Gb USB 2.0 flash drive A588
Seller’s address (as on the shipping package):

bj/Ebay Airmail Department

1. ESSE Flat 25-26 2/F Block B,
FOCAL IND CTR,
21 Main Lok St.,
HOM,
Hong Kong

I buy quite some stuff on Ebay and up until now I have had only pleasant experiences. Even with sellers who do end up selling fake batteries I end up getting a refund or a replacement.

This time I went about buying a flash drive, the price seemed too attaractive so I bought it. The seller at that time had no negative feedback so it all seemed ok. The item arrived quite late and I thought I would do a battery of tests before I leave any feedback. The drive looked sleek and nice.

I checked on my Mac at first tried copying a file that was 225mb, nothing big for a drive that claims to be 32 GB! Well at about 104 mb my mac would stop copying the file and be ’stuck’! This got me suspicious and I formatted it on my laptop running Windows PC it showed 32 gb alright it even “copied” big files, but when I tried to access these files nothing happened! They wouldn’t open.

Obviously I got suspicious and “googled’ and discovered your site and H2Testw. Ran the test for a complete 3 hours and then when the verifying process started it just gave me 105.9 mb ok!!! No wonder the mac stopped copying at 104 MB!!! Imagine my shock, 32 GB and 105 MB! What a joke not even 1/4th of its advertised capacity!

I quickly logged on to check the feedback of the seller, and what do I find? He has made it “Private” there were 7 negatives and in another day 9! Obviously the other buyers have figured out that they have also received fake drives! And now by making it Private I can’t read their feedback. After going through your site I have registered a complaint with Paypal for a full claim.

Of course the seller is in denial and says his drives are 32 gb if I don’t like it I can return it! But he is not willing to pay for the return mail.

My stand is that since this is not a damaged or spoilt drive in fact is a fake drive, why should I pay for the return?? They have deliberately sent me a fake drive when they knew it full well its fake. I am still waiting for the decission from Paypal.

But in the meanwhile I thought it would be wise to submit this information to your site, so that more people don’t get fooled. If there are so many cases on Ebay, then Ebay should do something about this! Make a policy decission to either make the seller pay more as guarantee for the drives or some other way to protect the buyer.

Hope this helps someone.

Thanks

NobelDefender

SOSFakeFlash, part of the FrankenFlash Project has been battling against sellers of false capacity flash memory products for over 22 months. The problem still continues on eBay, the evidence continues to grow against fake flash sellers operating on eBay and also on eBay itself for refusing to address the problems. The issue is over five years old. It is said that over 90% of all flash memory products sold on eBay are false capacity. NobelDefender call for eBay to DO SOMETHING! is not new, all victims on eBay say exactly the same thing. So far, eBay does little except suspend sellers when enough people complain. This unfortunately leads to listing information disappearing – SOSFakeFlash does it’s best to preserve information for victims.

SOSFakeFlash can not publish an alert on a seller without evidence. As a victim reported in on wholesalestore09 we were able to investigate and issue an alert on the internet.

Members like NobelDefender realizing something is wrong, search the internet for information, and find us. If you suspect you have purchased a false capacity flash memory item on eBay, please test it and if you discover you have a fake, report in, using the Report A Fake Tab.

Your information is important to warn others about bad sellers on eBay. NobelDefender’s observations on wholesalestore09 demonstrates why. wholesalestore09 has changed his feedback to private so people can not see what buyers have to say. Even worse, no one can see who bought from wholesalestore09 to warn them to test. NobelDefender’s testing makes that very clear. Buyers of wholesalestore09 are at risk of loosing their data – there are over 750 victims out there.

The issue of fake 32GB and 64GB usb flash drives on eBay continues to be serious. wholesalestore09 was one of these sellers. See: Warning! eBay 32GB 64GB Fake Flash Memory Outbreak – USB Pen Drives. Please patrol eBay for suspect listings and warn buyers to test. You could save someone from serious data loss and help remove fraudulent sellers of these fake capacity usb flash drives that are so dangerous to a persons data.

Yogi’s Fake 32GB MP Player From kinhome88 eBay Fake Flash Memory Seller – Charger Blows Up

Posted by kittyfireflash on October 3, 2009

Buying a false capacity MP3 MP4 Player on eBay happens all the time. SOSFakeFlash is also receiving reports that these items often have a dangerous wall charger too – they “blow up” and can lead to electrical fires!

On June 25, 2009 SOSFakeFlash Published: kinhome88 Ebay Fake Flash Seller Alert – China

You should read the email from the kinhome88 in that alert! It may explain why he has been able to continue frauding through the summer of 2009 and continues unchallenged in the Fall of 2009. kinhome88 now also offers those fake usb memory flash pen drives SOSFakeFlash has seen a few too many times.

eBay buyer victim “Yogi” bought this 32GB Touch Screen MP3 MP4 Player from kinhome88:

3903

Yogi provided the following listing description from kinhome88:

PACKAGE INCLUDED
———————————

32GB Touch Screen MP3 MP4 Player
USB Data & Power Supply Cable
High Quality Earphone
USB Wall Charger (Free Gift!!!)

Yogi said:

Received a Wall Charger which BLEW up !See picture

kinhome88 ChargerBlewUp

Yogi Observed:

High Quality Earphone….it’s subjective….

The 32GB player with 2,8 inch screen….After putting more than 2 GB on the memory the problems start to arise. corupt files etc.
Because of the site.. I decided to open the MP4 player. It has a Samsung memory chip :

SAMSUNG Flash
K4S281632C-TC1L

The Hardware chip is:
ANYKA AK3631LQ14402
FS01F9

SOSFakeFlash had a lot of difficultly trying to find this the memory chip at Samsung: K4S281632C-TC1L when found, the serial was for SDRAM and was an EOL product (end of life). Very confusing. The investigators have no idea what to make of this. An SDRAM flash memory chip being used in an MP Player? Or was it a counterfeit nand memory chip, using a legal serial number from Samsung? Or was this chip “converted” to be used in low quality MP Players because it was an EOL memory chip? At the moment no one really knows.

Yogi on testing the capacity:

Output of H2Test 1.4.. after completing the writing of the 32 GB and the verify starts it complained about errors and it/… crashed.
Because the writing of 32 Gb takes so very long I didn’t do the test again.

Yogi has filed a claim with paypal as do many eBay victims.

Yogi’s false capacity MP Player, reveals two additional facts buyers need to be aware of:

1) Wrong storage memory chips being used, possibility of counterfeit knock offs or recycled chips that should not be used in MP Players.

2) Wall chargers that are an electrical hazard. Yogi’s MP Player was damaged as a result. Wall chargers that are sub standard and not properly certified could damage your electrical outlet, MP Player and possibly start a fire in your home.

In hunting for unrealistic bargains on eBay you could end up with much more than a false capacity memory item.

Meanwhile kinhome88 continues to fraud and SOSFakeFlash sees little evidence of buyers attempting to contact and warn others who bought from this seller. As a result, kinhome88 will to earn and to sell fake memory items to unsuspecting eBay members.

If you feel this is wrong, lend a helping hand, warn buyers of kinhome88.

Stephen And eBay Fake Memory Seller Hjstore – A Short Conversation

Posted by kittyfireflash on September 12, 2009

eBay sellers who sell false capacity usb flash drives, try to play innocent. Will you fall for their stories? A victim of Hjstore did not.

Stephen’s eBay Buying Experience:

This has really turned me off from eBay. I use to purchase a lot of electronic odds and ends from there and now I just want to stay away.

I found out about this site a few days ago after looking for some flash memory and seeing an auction claiming fake flash chips, so I tested an 32GB SD card I got around April that I had not used yet. It was fake and died in the verifying process… Yesterday when I got a thumb drive I purchased a few months back I tested it. FAKE…

I sent an email to the seller and filed a cliam through Paypal. Here are the transcripts.

Stephen To Hjstore

I purchased a “16 GB USB Thumb Drive” as described in the auction.

I received the drive today, when i tried to load the drive with data and retrieve it, the data was shown to be corrupt.

I ran a test using “H2testw 1.4″ which fills the drive with data and checks to see that is actually exists on the drive. The test has shown that the drive is significantly less in capacity than described. (Results are available).

I have read and experienced (in a previous SD Card purchase) that there is a large amount of fake or “hacked” flash chips on the market. I strongly feel that this is one of those items.

Here are the results from the test. Observe that the “DATA LOST” is 13.6 GB and that the “OK” data is 1.9 GB.

The media is likely to be defective.
1.9 GByte OK (4109958 sectors)
13.6 GByte DATA LOST (28623226 sectors)

Details:12.9 GByte overwritten (27262758 sectors)
26.5 KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 53 sectors)
664.2 MByte corrupted (1360415 sectors)
64 KByte aliased memory (128 sectors)
First error at offset: 0×0000000000000000
Expected: 0×0000000000000000
Found: 0×00000003e6e50000
Writing speed: 2.61 MByte/s
Reading speed: 4.80 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

Thank you very much.

HJStore To Stephen

Dear friend,

I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

But we perform very strict QC procedure and we are sure the item works fine.

I don’t know why the problem happens.

Shall I send a 70% refund and you keep this item?

Or could you please return it for a full refund?

Please accept my sincere apologies.

Best Regards

HJ^

Stephen To HJStore

I would like a full refund as the drive is not what was advertised.

Paypal to Stephen

A Refund was issued.

Stephen, performed the testing we ask of buyers. He then reported in using the Report A Fake Tab .

He had the addressing information for HJStore. Little did Stephen know just how important this information would be! The addresses were checked in SOSFakeFlash’s database. We were able to confirm another eBay id belonging to two counterfeit rings operating on eBay.

Read: eBay Fraud – Heng Fung House – Home To eBay Counterfeit Ring – Lei Sio Hong. Connected To The Don Of Fake Flash In the Orient – 3ToTrade. SOSFakeFlash Investigation.

HJStore’s Testing

But we perform very strict QC procedure and we are sure the item works fine.

Is not unusual for a fake flash seller to say this to a buyer. The strict “QC” HJStore is talking about, is testing to see that the fake will show up as 16GB to an operating system. Flash drive chips are digitally altered to lie about their real size to operating systems.

Do not fall for any tall tales HJStore might tell.

Stephen learned about SOSFakeFlash because someone on eBay tipped him off with a listing. eBay listings about fake pen drives, mp players and memory cards are important. The message must be where the fakes are being sold. It warns people. It teaches them to be careful – to become smart consumers. Most people do not know memory chips can be altered. They do not expect to find this on eBay.

The listing on eBay interested Stephen to test a memory card he bought on eBay but never got around to using. It died during the testing. When his pen stick arrived, he was already prepared to test it for true capacity. It failed. Stephen went to battle with HJStore and won. His report to SOSFakeFlash helped add another eBay id to two very sinister counterfeit rings that operate together on eBay. Read: Urgent – Hjstore eBay Seller. Did You Buy A 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Memory 16G Pen Stick Thumb Drive From This Seller?

Never underestimate the value of a warning listing on eBay.

rickysell819 Ebay Fake Flash Seller – Canada – Case Of Ricky The Tricky

Posted by kittyfireflash on September 6, 2009

rickysell819 is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake – false capacity) Flash USB drives. Registered in Canada, rickysell819 was the reincarnation of save_big4real. Same eBay region and later as victims discovered, same address. rickysell819 sold items he did under save_big4real (see previous article). Having a degree of ego, the leatherette usb flash drives were embrossed with his previous eBay seller id. Not bright.

He was spotted by fake flash angels. Buyers were contacted, the dots connected – the addressing information compared.

He earned the name “Ricky The Tricky“.

He manage to sell about 130 fake flash pen drives, before the Fake Flash Angels caught up with him. He was suspended by eBay. Consumer laws appear to be taken more seriously by eBay in Canada. The government over there has sharp teeth.

Victims did contact Ricky The Tricky. In fact some lived very close to him. In his second selling spree, he used a different name, same address with an apartment number. Odd, give the address was for a house.

“Ricky The Tricky” found himself in a lot of pain, similar to the pain he caused for others.

He had invested a great deal of money in those fake usb flash drives, refused to accept the financial loss or face the consequences of what he had done to others under save_big4real. Instead, he thought it was perfectly fine to continue to harm others under the id of rickysell819. He felt he deserved to get all of his money back. It did not matter what would happen to others.

He felt he was a victim and he came first.

rickysell819 – Ricky The Tricky reeled in shock. The id was suspended. He never dreamed people were watching him and patrolling. He thought he would get away with it. Ricky The Tricky, learned otherwise. He was painfully aware, many of his victims lived just a short drive away. He enjoyed the horror or pleasure of telephone calls and conversations from his victims.

The last news on Ricky The Tricky was that he was busy drowning himself in a puddle of beer.

SOSFakeFlash does not know what happened to him in the end. Some victims intended to report him to the RCMP, the national police in Canada.

The most interesting thing about the case of rickysell819 aka SaveBig4Real, is how eBay victims can organize and catch fake flash sellers. It reveals a dark side in people. How sellers who discover they were victims (purchased false capacity items), feel justified in continuing to sell to reclaim their costs. Victims have a very dim view of people who do this.

Hopefully in the the hereafter, they bake on very same fake flash nand chips from the devices they sold – down below.

It can be traumatic and a terrible discovery for an eBay seller to learn their items were not genuine capaicty, but they should not continue to sell these dangerous items to reclaim their costs. Instead they should focus their attention on the source of their volume purchase with the full force of law. Many victims sellers do. Many have received their money back. If the source is in their home country, there is a good chance at recovery of funds. It purchased abroad, it becomes a sad lesson instead.

rickysell819 sold:

mike56888 Ebay Fake Flash Seller High Alert Devious – China

Posted by kittyfireflash on August 7, 2009

mike56888 is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Flash USB drives. Registered in China, mike56888 sold false capacity usb flash drives. This seller is trying to hide from eBay victims and has just recently made his feedback private.

A victim reports:

I am currently in discussion with seller trying to get a refund. The seller will not give me a refund without sending back the fake drive. He claims he needs to give it back to his supplier in order to get his money back also. He claims to be a victim as well. At this stage I think I will send it back. Here is the wording from the sellers last email to me

Dear friend
thanks for your letter very sorry for this, i’m also a victim,
i’m buy this item from other company, the company tell me the item is 16GB,
please understanding me, i agree return you all money.
your need return the item to me, because i need return this item to company,
and the company can return my money, your return fee i can pay half.
very sorry again!
thank you
best regard

- mike56888.

There is a problem with this seller SOSFakeFlash explained to the victim. eBay sellers who cry “I am a victim too!” do not race to change their feedback to private. In doing so they are avoiding their responsibilites as sellers.

mike56888 fake flash seller is trying to blame some one else. What effort is this seller making to contact his buyers, to warn them about pending data loss from using the dangerous usb drives he has sold? Is he refunding them?

In hiding his feedback, ebay seller mike56888 has earned the classification of “devious“, not the status of a victim seller. A true victim seller does not attempt to run from the damage he has done.

How do we know? The FrankenFlash project was co founded, by eBay victim sellers and eBay buyer members.

The victim’s final thoughts:

I contacted Ebay and they advise to talk to the local police and that is about all they can do. They mentioned that they have no responsibility for the integrity of items offered. If this is as wide spread as we now know it is surely they could post a warning in one of the promotion emails they send to members.

eBay Fraud – A Powerseller eBay Can Not Stop From Harming Buyers Currently Known as intertrade-connection

Posted by kittyfireflash on August 1, 2009

FakeFlashReprogrammerPowerseller ids with high feedback scores do not have to follow eBay rules. They are immune and do as they please. intertrade-connection has a feedback score of over 27,000. Very skilled at getting victims of fake usb flash drives, memory cards and mp players to change their feedback. How long have eBay members tried to STOP this seller from harming others? 13 months. The first documented fake was in June, 2008!

How is intertrade-connection getting away with massive fraud?

1) Private Auctions
2) Exceptionally High eBay Feedback score

and of course changing his id name to evade detection. intertrade-connection was previously known as i.c.distribution and before that, i.c.distribution and earlier as i.c_electronics. Three id changes in 13 months? Exactly what kind of seller would do this? An honest one? Not likely. Our database is designed to track this kind of evasion.

intertrade-connection is very much aware of the FrankenFlash Project and SOSFakeFlash. That is why he changed to private auctions, to bury the fraudulent activity even deeper.

You would think that eBay would DO SOMETHING! They can’t.

intertrade-connection knows this and will continue to sell items with false memory capacity, so harmful to data.

You would think that if ebay was so powerless to act against the sellers score, they would at least prevent the seller from using private auctions to level the playing field and allow eBay members to do their dirty work and bring the seller down with negative feedback. eBay won’t. They need intertrade-connection’s fee’s. eBay continues to lose members and it is no secret as to why.

Exactly what kind of a powerseller has over 270 negative feedback’s in 6 months?

http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=intertrade-connection&Dirn=Received+by

There are lot of games being played by intertrade-connection.

Private Auctions or not, eBay victims are starting to leave negative feedback and they are leaving clues about the items they purchased. intertrade-connection might try to change his id again, but the negative feedback has to remain, otherwise he must surrender his high score and that is one thing intertrade-connection is not prepared to do.

If eBay refuses to do anything about fraudulent activities especially against this long term offender, it is up to you. Each negative is a voice and a permanent testimony. Contact buyers who bought any eBay item that shows “private” – warn them. If you found out too late, you can still leave follow up feedback telling the truth.

13 months ago this seller got away with it, almost no negatives. People did not understand what was going on. That is changing. SOSFakeFlash is seeing buyers fighting back with their feedback vote. You can too!

Background:

If you are a victim of intertrade-connection you have a choice to make.

1) Allow this powerseller id to continue to fraud – do nothing
2) Say NO! Fight back

If you don’t mind losing your data and your money, option one is the best choice.

If you don’t like what happened to you, you must fight back. FraudedBuyersThis is a dangerous seller and a very old one. The FrankenFlash Project can not do all the work for you. We need the army of victims to take down the nasty powersellers. Only when victims join together do these nasty sellers get shut down. The most famous example of what ebayers can do is seller 3totrade. 113 fakes recorded. How did that happen? It happened when eBayers decided to contact other eBayers and warn them. It grew. People tested and contacted others.

In the case of intertrade-connection it is now more difficult since the seller hides behind private auctions. It is not a problem, any feedback that shows “private” for an ebay item number is one thing – Fake Flash! intertrade-connection has made it easy for you. “Private” will lead you to a victim! eBay only allows you to send 5 messages a day, so you need other victims to join in. Get them to report to us at SOSFakeFlash using the Report A Fake Tab

We will take care of the rest and enter the data. You must be curious on the “How”, that we will not reveal. You would be surprised to learn who is unhappy about this terrible problem

Make sure to leave the calling card of “SOSFakeFlash” and “H2testw” in feedback to help others. If you left positive feedback, do a followup feedback to tell the truth! Let people know what you bought from this nasty fraudster!

uk-choice Ebay Fake Flash Seller Alert Devious – Internet ukmobi Kingston Technology Fraud – United Kingdom

Posted by techchips on August 1, 2009

uk-choice is an eBay seller of Counterfeit (Fake) Kingston DataTraveler Flash USB drives. Registered in the United Kingdom, uk-choice also has an independent website, ukmobi. This seller is ignorant of the technology he sells. One of the worse examples the FrankenFlash Project has uncovered so far. You will find this example astonishing!

uk-choice-8GB as 4GB

Advertising at 8GB for this model, the photo is correct for the 8GB DataTraveler. Only they actually say the size is 4GB and in fact that is the tested capacity. The information on this fact has also independently been preserved.

Is it possible this seller simply has no understanding of the products he sells, or employee’s don’t?

On eBay uk-choice has released dangerous false capacity usb flash drives for sale. Furthermore, in using private actions for usb flash drives, uk-choice earns the classification of devious. This auction category is the most dangerous for nand based flash technology, it has allowed too many fraudlent sellers to victimize eBay members and to escape detection – increasing the number of victims.

As a result of complaint, what did uk-choice do?

1) Continue to list on eBay

uk-choice-changes 8GB to 4GB on eBay

But modify the title, yet show the same correct colour for the Kingston DataTraveler 8GB. Then further down in the listing shows:

uk-choice-changes DataTraveler 4GB Black on eBay

Sorry there never was a 4GB Kingston DataTraveler in Black!

2) Makes similar changes at their own website.

uk-choice-changes 8GB to 4GB

Their website: http://www.ukmobi.co.uk/Product_info.asp?id=1501

The FrankenFlash Project has never seen such stupidity or ignorance of technology. Both uk-choice and ukmobi SELL technology. Are you frightened? If not you should be!

The test results for this usb flash drive:

Warning: Only 7983 of 7984 MByte tested.
The media is likely to be defective.
3.9 GByte OK (8285056 sectors)
3.8 GByte DATA LOST (8064128 sectors)
Details:2.8 GByte overwritten (6048096 sectors)
0 KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 0 sectors)
984.3 MByte corrupted (2016032 sectors)
1.5 KByte aliased memory (3 sectors)
First error at offset: 0×00000000fcd70000
Expected: 0×00000000fcd70000
Found: 0×00000000aa55aa55
H2testw version 1.3
Writing speed: 6.45 MByte/s
Reading speed: 18.6 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

We doubt very much that this fraudster has been staying up all night performing low level formats to return these usb flash drives to the correct size of the actual flash storage chips. Any consumer who uses this flash drive would lose data after 3.9 GB without a corrective to return the usb flash drives to their actual capacity.

Even if uk-choice and ukmobi did this it is fraud. Why? Contact Kingston to ask their opinions!

uk-choice and ukmobi stubborn resolve to unload these dangerous devices to unsuspecting consumers demonstrates just how low some sellers can be. Anything to make money, anything to recover their capital. It doesn’t matter that they are harming Kingston Technologies reputation or causing data loss to consumers.

Profit at any cost, is the mantra uk-choice and ukmobi chant.

Important Reading:

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

Don’t forget to leave the calling card of “SOSFakeFlash” and “H2testw” in your feedback to help others. Do not change your feedback to get a refund – you will only create more victims. See what we have on file.

Posted by kittyfireflash on June 24, 2009

eBay seller flea_auction demonstrates how fraud is easily carried out on eBay. Sellers of fake flash devices such as usb flash drives, memory cards and MP Players are skilled in frauding buyers. They easily manipulate eBay and know it’s weaknesses and exploit them!

SOSFakeFlash launches MP Player education week with this seller! Why? To demonstrate how a seller can continue to engage in frauding buyers.

On May 29, 2009 SOSFakeFlash Published: gamers-auction aka flea-auction Ebay Fake Flash Seller High Alert Devious- Hong Kong

This seller changed his id name to avoid detection. Now he has changed it again! So alerts should now read: “flea_auction aka gamers-auction aka flea-auction“. That makes for a very long title line. Will he change his name again? Probably. This a powerseller who thinks he is smart. Well in using private auctions, we can say he is intelligent in frauding. In his feedback where ever you see “private” instead of an ebay item number you are guaranteed he sold a fake flash item. This is how the game is played for persistent fake flash sellers on eBay. They take the longest to expose and they hurt the most eBayers. So what is he selling since he changed his id again? Have a look. This is important reading for anyone who bought an MP Player on eBay!
